Being the cynical person that i am, i just love to hate these people.
It really makes me grin when i read some liberal fruit-cake's retarded crap about how George Bush is evil, and how our military is nothing but "body bag fillers." Anybody agree?
I could seriously spend a whole day just ripping on these people.
God i love it.

i think you guys should be careful about your generalization. not all liberals are hippies and anti-war fruitcakes as you so eloquently put it. And no, we don't think president bush is evil, we just KNOW that he is incompetent. I guess I don't blame him, when you are spoon fed everything your whole life. Poor guy was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple!!!
understand that I do realize that there are a lot of far left wackos out there who do spew anti-war nonsense, I am not denying that. (just as I do not deny there are a lot of right wing wackos as well) I personally don't like them either. However, when a subject so broad like this is broached, I feel compelled to speak out because when such generalizations are made on such a wide ranging topic, it really is unfair to cast us all under the same umbrella.

I resent the fact that people think President Bush is Incompetent. The point is ~ he has access to information you do not.. intelligence you do not.. has to make decisions on THAT information. The American public has to put TRUST in their President... unfortunately half the Country says "SHOW US!" .. well, HE CANT! Thats the way it goes.
As far as his KNOWLEDGE goes.. you do realize he had a BETTER GPA than John Kerry dont you? :D He just isnt as eloquent a speaker or Orator as the "Weasel" was. President Bush will go down in history and HISTORY will be what writes his legacy (NOT US) as one of our Greatest Presidents.
Personally, he is a Kind and Compassionate and caring individual. Talk to the men who serve under him, any of the men that he has ever come in contact with, Democrat or Republican.. they dont bash him. He has a HELL of a hard job to do.

It's hard to believe what you say though when your liberal leaders in the senate consistantly rip into our military, slandering them and demeaning their hard work. Not to mention rip on their commander-in-chief, while they sit around and have the lowest and least productive senate majority for a long while in the USA.

Then you should come to Portland (you'd have a hay day!) where just the last couple of days SO's were conducting "urban assaults" exercises and the folks living downtown felt they were OWED an explanation ahead of time, so in turn they called the DoD and asked them if they'd have the exercises moved somewhere other than good ole downtown Portland. Yesterday they were in Salem, wonder how the good people of Salem handled that?? :)
Oh, I bout forgot to add that the good city of Portland invited them here!

Swab, I am not going to tear into this because I like and respect you as a person and as a contributing poster as well as a hell of a moderator to this site... however, I will counter what you say.
First of all, I have never wondered what it would be like to be president of this great nation. I would never want to have that job. I understand that it entails a GREAT deal of responsibility. (understatement of the century) And believe me, I understand that President Bush was faced with some serious $hit, and he had to act on it. However serious the issue was, it could not, I repeat, IT COULD NOT have been so serious as to use OUR Constitution as toilet paper. And you can toot your horn all you like about the seriousness of 9/11 and terrorism domestic and abroad, and while I do concur that this is serious stuff that MUST be dealt with, ripping apart the literal fabric of OUR nation is not how we go about handling things. Oh, and what kind of information might you be talking about? Information like the identity of an active CIA agent under deep cover? I don't care if he lies to us, that is almost expected, but answer me this honestly swab, how can you support how this guy handles information when he LIES about the information that he has to his own Secretary of State (Colin Powell) which is why he QUIT by the way!
And Bush had a better GPA then John Kerry! HOLY $HIT folks lets call it a day and give this guy a f*ckin medal. Now I am not going to get into some babbling spat about Bush's GPA vs Kerry. There are too many arguments for both sides, some would say Bush bought his GPA and degree. All I'm saying is, if his GPA was so high and if he so smart, then why does he sound like such a DUMBA$$?! "STRAGERY" ring a bell anyone? anyone? That is a made up word, that has nothing to do with being a severely poor public orator. We have a saying here, if it looks like $hit, and smells like $hit, its probably $hit.
I don't know President Bush, but if you say personally that he is a kind and compassionate and caring individual, well I believe you... But personally I don't give a rat's a$$ if our president is saltiest old b@stard you ever laid your eyes on. I want a MAN running our country, not a pu$$y. A MAN who is NOT afraid to fight for his country... *cough* *cough*
And finally last, but definitely not least, this is a quote from you, and I really hope its a joke- "President Bush will go down in history and HISTORY will be what writes his legacy (NOT US) as one of our Greatest Presidents."-oldswabbie...... do i really have to comment on this one? I mean really, is he one of "greatest presidents" because he didn't blow up the f*ckin world? 'Jeez you did a great job Georgie, all 7 continents are present and accounted for.' I guess they thought, 'you know, being a president sure aint easy nowadays, lets just lower the standards and call this guy great!' LMAO

Most of you know me. You know where I stand on most issues. So what I'm about to write will surprise you. However, if you think about everything I've ever written about what I value? It shouldn't.
I spent 4 years at one of the most liberal colleges in the country. My Freshman year I remember some student on the steps of the student union building with a bullhorn yelling "Get the Air Force Recruiters off Campus!" I didn't like the liberals, but I learned a lot about them in my four years there.
I grew up in a liberal town in a rather interesting home. I really can't say whether my parents are moderate or conservative. However, I do know about my younger brother. I don't like it when he goes off on a tear about Bush, but he did once make a very valid point about Mr. Clinton: He managed to balance the budget. He managed to get rid of the deficit. That is something that I value for two reasons: my niece and my nephew.
I don't have kids, but I tell you what people, a national debt of 10 trillion dollars scares the snot out of me. We are in prime picking condition for some nation to buy us.
So, say what you want about Clinton, but keep one thing in mind: he didn't spend money we didn't have to spend and he didn't drag us into a VERY VERY VERY expensive military conflict.

So disagree with his policies. Libs (if you are one, fine) have been hating Bush since the day he was inaugurated. It just makes you look dumb (libs in general) and childish to have that much hate for someone because he's not your guy in the White House. It would be refreshing to see some of this hate directed at bin Laden or Zawahiri for once. I forgot...Bush is Hitler.
As much hate that there is for him, actually admiring and respecting him takes guts. If that makes me a sheep (do sheep step up in your eyes?) then I'll be a sheep on the right side of history my friend. He leaves much to be desired in many a thing in my eyes (borders, illegal immigration, SCOTUS choice), but your side has yet to impress with another option. Disgust is the word that comes to mind, but not losing-my-mind hatred.
Well, Clinton was riding the wave of Reagan tax cuts and he vetoed drilling in ANWAR. Let's see what else: pulled us out of Somalia thereby making bin Laden think we were paper tigers, no payback for first attack on twin towers, no payback for Khobar tower bombings, no payback for Nairobi and Dar es-Salaam embassy bombings (at bin Laden's directives), no payback for Saddam kicking out weapons inspectors (which was one of many stipulations to the "cease fire" agreement which stopped the ops of the Gulf War), no payback for the USS Cole bombing, getting us into Kosovo (which brought in the mujahideen) and is now the only European Muslim majority nation (which is full of jihadis I last heard and ethnic cleansing of Serbs), enabling the North Koreans to get NUCLEAR weapons, giving the Chinese sensitive nuclear and military know-how, and not taking out bin Laden when there were crosshairs on his short and curlies.

Part of John Kerry's testimony in front of Congress, April 22, 1971:
Kerry: They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, tape wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the country side of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.
At Young America's Foundation site (via Gateway Pundit blog):
MATTERA: Does it bother you that the North Vietnamese created a memorial dedicated to you?
KERRY: It’s not dedicated to me.
The Truth: At the Communists War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, John Kerry’s picture hangs in a section dedicated to the anti-war activists who helped the Vietnamese Communists win the Vietnam War.
No criminal charges were filed as a result of any of the (Army's Criminal Investigative Division) investigations into Winter Soldier (Kerry's group).
Don't ever challenge me again you hippie spawn (illnumbnut). This is my last post with you because your ranting and crying is getting boring. If you ever make the bad decision of indeed joining my Marine Corps, your attitude will be adjusted, I guarantee.

Brother (and man if you only knew how much respect I have for SEALs),
You and I are on the same page with the brotherhood part. But, I'm not blindly going to follow someone just because they served or didn't. I don't think you are, don't mistake. I look at the total man. Marine is the hat I wore for 4 years and got out with a disability. I've been fighting this whole time to get healthy and try out for BUD/S, but it's been 5 years of no-go. The thing that stuck out in my mind about the SEALs is the brotherhood. That's all I thought about.
But being a Marine doesn't make up for my bad decisions and doesn't define who I am. Although, when I get mouthy it rears its head. I see liberalism as destroying the foundations and institutions that made this country great. Not everyone can be a warrior or soldier. So, if these guys were cowards when they were 18-22, then are they marked for life? Everything they do from that time on is tainted?
No way will I give someone a pass and not disagree with them in my beliefs just because they served at any level. If it takes getting my butt whooped then that's the price I'll pay.

1st I RESPECT your service...thank you!! I have found in life that a leopard never changes it's spots!! Once a coward always a coward...and how dare a person run their mouth at someone or question how someone served....when they at least gave up their freedom and swore in and served their country....all service is valuable service....and deserves our respect!! Especially those that sacrifice in the Marine corp....brotherhood!! Once again....thank you for your service.......I have a major distaste for those that judge how another person served....when they NEVER raised their hand.....they have NOTHING to say!! They just don't get it.....nor will they ever!! You my friend should turn off the talk radio....and take a good look around.....those idiots...are the one's ruining our country!!

Well, there actually is some evidence about this. I'm a scientist, so my jury is still out, but when a "jet" crashes into the only side of a building where NO ONE is working and the grass STILL looks like a 'putting green?' This is in response to BUD/S 184.
Normally I would not respond to such a childish conversation, but I feel compelled by the very fact that children are no doubt watching. SEALs are idolized and given the highest of respect, as they should be. They sacrifice to defend, protect, and preserve the Constitution of the United States. And insodoing they go beyond the normal call of duty and commit themselves in ways that most men can’t even imagine. They deserve a humble bow from us all.
With that said, you, sir, disgust me. I have a sincere respect and admiration for what you were able to accomplish on Coronado island, but it seems you didn’t learn much after that, which is truly unfortunate.
Do you not realize that on this site you represent the SEAL community? There are many impressionable young men on this site looking at guys like you as a role model, and yet you conduct yourself in such a brazen and frankly ignorant way. Is your mind so small that you cannot express yourself without using such forceful and vulgar language?
You are doing a very poor job representing your community. I would suggest you think before opening your mouth. “Is what I’m about to say going to make SEALs look good or bad?”
Now, regarding the content of your post, I have a few comments.
For starters your argument is totally asinine and is also frankly a big, fat, lie. And this shouldn’t be a surprise because you didn’t come up with any of that yourself. So right off the bat you’re misrepresenting yourself. I ran some quick searches on Google and much of what you said, including the big long list of politicians and punits, was copied from others. I doubt that you have any idea who half the people on that list are.
That list is incredibly misleading and was intentionally designed to be.
Here is a statistic for you. Here are all the Republican presidents that we’ve ever had in office. No doubt virtually all of the president preceding Lincoln would have also been Republican, but the party simply hadn’t been created yet.
Every single one of these men served in the U.S. military in one branch or another.
Abraham Lincoln
Andrew Johnson
Ulysses Simpson Grant
Rutherford Birchard Hayes
James Abram Garfield
Chester Alan Arthur
Benjamin Harrison
William McKinley
Theodore Roosevelt
William Howard Taft
Warren Gamaliel Harding
Calvin Coolidge
Herbert Clark Hoover
Dwight David Eisenhower
Richard Milhous Nixon
Gerald Rudolph Ford
Ronald Wilson Reagan
George Herbert Walker Bush
George Walker Bush
If you know your history then you should also know that this is every single Republican president we’ve ever had in the White House. All served in the military, and honorably. The same cannot be said of the Democrats.
How many of the men on this list, who all served in the military, were on that little Republican vs. Democrats list of yours?
Not only does your list ommit a large number of Republicans, including countless many that I could name who serve in the Senate or House, as well as pundits, but the description of everyone’s service is misleading, even derogatory.
For the Democrats medals and awards are listed, compared to derogatory descriptions of the Republicans.
For example, take George H W Bush. The description on your list reads, “Pilot in WWII. Shot down by the Japanese.” That’s it, that’s all you have to say? How about the fact that he flew over 58 combat missions, received the distinguished flying cross, three air medals, and a presidential unit citation.
Compare that to John Kerry who is described as “Lt., Navy 1966-70; Silver Star, Bronze Star with Combat V Purple Hearts.” So for John Kerry rank and awards are listed and for Bush you just say “yeah, he got shot down by the Japanese”
I’m not even going to waste my time going into what a slime, a liar, and a backstabber John Kerry was. That man has never served his country in any form. From day one that guy has been all about himself. He served with the intent of a political career. He stabbed his brothers in the back and spat on everything the U.S. military stands for.
And then how about another example. For President Reagan the list reads, “due to poor eyesight, served in a non-combat role making movies.” Wow, that sure is a belittlement. It’s technically true, but it’s very misleading. The guy was a Captain in the Army Air Force. He intently trained and pushed for combat duty, but they wouldn’t let him because of his eyes. So then he served in a PR role, doing what he could.
Now let’s compare that with another Democrat, one that served as President, Bill Clinton. The list reads “Did not serve. Student deferments. Entered draft but received 311.” Do I even need to point out how misleading this is. It is a very well and overdocumented fact that Clinton was a huge draft dodger. And of course he also participated in a lot of anti-war stuff back in those days.
Your list is trash and I’ll continue to shred it if you’d like me to.
And what was the point of the list anyway? Republicans are the warmongers? Really, news to me. Let’s count the wars that the U.S. has gotten involved with because of Democrats, uh, let’s see: World War I, World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War. Not classified as wars, but other interesting conflicts include Iran Hostage Crises, Kosovo/Bosnia, Nigeria, Somalia (black hawk down), Haiti, and a long list of other interventionist screwups, mostly by Clinton and Carter.
Are there good Democrats? Of course. I liked JFK. I think he was a good guy. And it's also important to point out that being a Democrat was completely different in the time of FDR and JFK than it is today. The party is completely different.
But the bottom line here is, who cares? The United States does not have a mandatory military service. I agree with you 100% that I’d like to see more people serving, but we also don’t need them. Last time I checked we were getting the people we need.
There are many, many ways to serve one’s country, and the military is but one of them. We need people out there actually inventing things and producing things so that we have an economy first of all. There are a lot of people who ought to be barred from military service because they are too important to the country in other fields of labor.
The Republican vs. Democrat issue has absolutely nothing to do with military service and nothing to do with starting wars. It has to do with liberty and freedom. It has to do with defending the republic. Democrats are socialists. Their whole mantra is income redistribution. Steal from those who actually earn the money and distribute it to the so-called unfortunate. No private property. No free speech. No right to bear arms. Government-forced education. Gay marriage. Attacking the Boy Scouts for not wanting pedofile scout masters. This is what the Dems stand for. This is the party of “change.” Sure, they do want change, but you all are so busy having an orgasm over that work that you don’t bother to ask “what change?”
And most active duty military personell know this, and that’s why nearly 80% of active duty military vote Republican.
If a person stands for evil, who cares if they served in the military? By your logic Osama bin Laden and the other terrorists are more honorable than Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity because he has actually served in the military and even in combat. You’re an idiot. You’re just jealous and insecure about the fact that even though neither Limbaugh or Hannity have served in uniform they have done far more for this country than you could ever hope to. Sure, you survived BUD/S, but you don’t have the brains or moral character to do what they do. Their influence for good dwarfs you.
BUD/S 184, I would advise you to do a little more reading and thinking and a little less cut-and-pasting. Have a good one.

Regarding military service among House members: "92 republicans, 64 (I was off by two) democrats and 2 independents. Move over, there are 9 congressmen who are still in the reserves, all republicans."
Also, "Look at the democrats. Most served in WW2 or Korea. Ted Kennedy was an example. As soon as the draft stopped, elected democrats stopped serving."
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.politics.bush/msg/369a8c188ed91e9a
How about we open up Excel and do a fresh count on the current Senate and Congress. And especially see Republican vs. Democrat post-Vietnam. Anybody want to place some bets?

This is in response to BUD/S 184.
Your first post certainly was a banner one dbednar. Now I'm going to comment on these particular parts of your post above.
Yes, there are many younger males on this site who come here to learn as much as they possibly can before heading off to BUD/s. You will be hard pressed to find members here who don't hold bud/s 184 in high regard.
How would you know what bud/s 184 learned or what he did after graduating the Honor Man of his class? The fact is that you don't have a clue. So perhaps you should refrain from making any statement to the contrary.
As an Administrator, I'm able to see what is added/removed from posts. Considering what Ambassador edited out, you have absolutely no room to talk about another members language. You conducted yourself in a manner that completely contradicts what you've posted above.
If you had bothered to read more than just a few of bud/s 184's posts, you would know that he is well respected here. His contributions to the site are also very much appreciated. And, you are way off base with saying that he does a poor job of representing the SEAL community. Frankly, you don't know what your talking about there either. I strongly suggest that you think before your fingers hit the keyboard again.
Calling him an idiot, jealous, insecure, without brains and lacking moral character is what...adult behavior? Not in my book and not by a long shot.

***Pal, you don't know ANYTHING about the SEAL community. These guys were sailors first, and don't you know sailors swear??? ******* hahhaha***
You are doing a very poor job representing your community. I would suggest you think before opening your mouth. “Is what I’m about to say going to make SEALs look good or bad?”
***What is this? what would jesus do? come on now son, this is the begining of your long winded post and you are already grasping here.***
***really? he never served in any form? I'm surprised you have the balls to even put President Georgie Dubya at the bottom of that list, then go on to say that John Kerry never served. Lol, eat a lot of paint chips as a child did we?***
Your list is trash and I’ll continue to shred it if you’d like me to.
And what was the point of the list anyway? Republicans are the warmongers? The party is completely different.
*** This arguement is complete BULL****. But you are absolutely right about one thing, the party is completely different. In fact, its almost like they just switched sides. So if thats the case, then I guess you could say the republicans were really like democrats back then and vice versa. That being said, then I guess the democrats back then would really be like the republicans now. correct? so in reality, yes, the were the warmongers the whole time.***
But the bottom line here is, who cares? The United States does not have a mandatory military service. I agree with you 100% that I’d like to see more people serving, but we also don’t need them. Last time I checked we were getting the people we need.
*** you really don't get out much. last time i checked, there was talks about reinstituting a draft. You think they are talking about this because we are, as you put it, "getting the people we need." i'm just going to start callin you swiss cheese son, because thats what you are starting to look like.***
*** that is a US Navy SEAL you are calling an idiot. He, in my humble opinion, and rest assured my humble opinion reflects what a lot of people on here think, has the right to say whatever the hell he feels like. He did more than survive BUD/S, he actually fought for his country, which is more than a lot of people can say. And he fought in way your very small difficult information processing brain could ever imagine. You are on a site that is Navy SEALs.com you don't have to like it, but at the very least, you WILL show respect to those who have sacrificed far more than you have. And i am not grasping when I say that you keep it up, you may just win a one way ticket to exile. ***
HAHAHHA this is one big joke. First you are insulting a member of these boards who is held in the highest regard not just by myself, but by many many others on this board. You will find, little one who talks big, that you have just outnumbered yourself. BUD/S 184 probably accomplished more in his 6 months at BUD/S then you ever did in your life.

Dbednar ~ This is in response to YOU...except the difference is I am a Moderator and I can make you go away for a very long time...Listen up....
There are ways of disagreeing with someone and discussing something and then are ways to totally do it the wrong way - you chose Door Number 2. People disagree on here all the time. I know some of the facts that bud/s put up were from a liberal website that was skewing stuff and not putting in all the Republican stats. No big deal.. what does it matter? Instead.. you attack his service, credibility his standing..everything because you disagree with his political viewpoint!
DUDE, I am NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. I consider Bud/s 184 (honorman) to be a Friend. You do not know what he did in his Naval career or the sacrifices he made. I will not stand for this.
Bud/s 184 is MY FRIEND... no questions. I would suggest you think long and hard before attacking ANYONE on this site... ESPECIALLY someone such as bud/s184.
This site is an invaluable resource as well as a great and fun place to come and be with friends ...dont blow it.

That list is incredibly misleading and was intentionally designed to be.
Here is a statistic for you. Here are all the Republican presidents that we’ve ever had in office. No doubt virtually all of the president preceding Lincoln would have also been Republican, but the party simply hadn’t been created yet.
Every single one of these men served in the U.S. military in one branch or another.
Abraham Lincoln
Andrew Johnson
Ulysses Simpson Grant
Rutherford Birchard Hayes
James Abram Garfield
Chester Alan Arthur
Benjamin Harrison
William McKinley
Theodore Roosevelt
William Howard Taft
Warren Gamaliel Harding
Calvin Coolidge
Herbert Clark Hoover
Dwight David Eisenhower
Richard Milhous Nixon
Gerald Rudolph Ford
Ronald Wilson Reagan
George Herbert Walker Bush
George Walker Bush

I checked your link. It is to an on-line conversation between unidentified people. It is not credible evidence.
I direct your attention to MSN Live Search and cut and past the follow link:
to www.magweb.com/sample/wl020pre.htm
Unlike your list, it shows NO military service for the following presidents:
William H. Taft Ohio 4 Mar 1909 4 Mar 1913 No record of service. .
Warren G. Harding Ohio 4 Mar 1921 2 Aug 1923 No record of service.
Calvin Coolidge Mass 3 Aug 1923 4 Mar 1929 No record of service.
Herbert Hoover Calif 4 Mar 1929 4 Mar 1933 No record of service.
I checked BUDS/184 list by randomly selecting listees. I found no errors. I sent this information to him by PM b/c I did not want to get involved in this. Broad sweeping statements unsupported by facts should, in my view, be brought to the attention of the reader.

To this day she can't stand Jane Fonda. She said no amount of apologies will make up for what she did.
My granddad was a Marine in Korea. Trained at PI. I respect him more than any other man alive, even my own dad. He's still tough as nails at 74. He joined at 16 after finding his father dead and had to suddenly support 9 siblings. 16 years old. I can't even imagine.

I understand this site is dedicated to Navy SEALs but just because one person is a Navy SEAL that doesn't give him the right to show disrespect to others. We are all PEOPLE, after all. And it isn't really fair that everyone jumps one one guy who expresses his opinion and leaves the other guy alone just because he is a Navy SEAL and a friend of the moderators. Seriously. Everyone has a right to his/her opinion, not everyone is going to agree with each other and that is what makes interesting reading.
This whole liberal vs conservative thread that we have going on here contains a lot of information. And I know moderators are worried about the kids that come here and that they may form their opinions based on something that is said here, and that is true. But information is the basis for decision making and arguments (emotionally controlled) are a means of dispersing many different views and different sources of information and for those reading the forums they can see an issue from many perspectives.
The young ones on the forums are going to get their information that they base their beliefs (on certain issues) on from somewhere, it might as well be from the intelligent, experienced community on these boards.
As far as Bush goes;
Yeah, he's made some bad decisions. But the one thing I want to point out is that his decisions were backed by congress: a democrat-majority congress.
And a side note, my grandpa is the HUGEST liberal ever. I mean he calls into the talk shows, writes in the local papers, and watches all the liberal television programs... And he's voting for McCain. Why? Because for the first time in his life he believes the republican parties proposed policies best the democratic policies and he also believes in having an experienced, older president - especially one that has served (my grandpa served in the Navy). I'm just saying that opinions change. Voting liberal or conservative based solely on your dedication to either 'movement' is not going to help the country as much as voting based on your beliefs and analyzing the candidates beliefs, policies, and attitudes.
Straight up from the mouth of Matt.

Like I said GF, It lasted long after the war... I was in RM "A" School in San Diego in 76, got spit on in the airport when I was leaving.. that would actually make it uh.. around.. Feb 77? Two years after Siagon fell and 4 years since ALL our Combat troops were withdrawn from Vietnam... We STILL had these morons walking around calling us baby killers. I do vaguely remember some people's faces after I had slugged the guy a couple of times and he hit the wall and slid down, i picked my seabag up and was walking away.. quickly because I didnt want to get arrested...after all I DID strike him first. I just remember some faces had a disgusted look on them as I walked by.. not sure if it was toward me, probably was. We were NOT liked well at all back in the mid 70's.. ESPECIALLY in California. I think they grew "peace nuts" out there on the beach everywhere.. LOL:D

Dang, I was actually having a NICE afternoon at work when I got the alert email about improper post on the forum. When I logged on and saw that crap I SAW RED. It is beyond my comprehension how people can think they are so smug as to get on a strange forum and say stuff like that is crazy! I saw almost exactly the same kind of a post on another forum - actually from a guy in the same Military Service.. got on and went ballistic on everyone .. his 1st post. He started out with telling all of them that they were boy scouts, they had never done spec ops and wouldnt know it if they saw it. He said they were making all this up in their minds etc. The guys actually tried talking to him because he was an RVN vet.. but the idiot wouldnt listen... he thought they were nothing...when in reality they WERE SPEC OPS.
The guy was a RVN vet too! I read this or I wouldnt have believed it. Sounds like someone with an inferiority complex if you ask me... same in this case too. He said he has known "many SEALS". I would lay money this man has never laid eyes on a REAL Navy SEAL nor has he ever even Spoken to one. Now that he actually HAS met one on the forum he had no idea what to make of it.. it didnt FIT HIS image of what a Navy SEAL was. Again - He was Full of Sh1t. The odds of him having known MANY SEALS is REMOTE. Most Sailors dont get to interact with SEALS that often. Other than bootcamp, I didnt meet any until the last 8 months I was in...that was 3 years. Jason my stepson just spent 4 years in and was going into EOD, he only got to meet 2 SEALS the whole time he was in.

Hey....the 3 peeps in the jacuzzi outside and right below my balcony were LTAO too! It's all good as far as I look at it!
