Hi, I recently just bought this book from Barnes & Noble probably about a good 6 months ago and have I have looked through it thoroughly and was just curious about some of you guys who has read it's insight.

It's pretty good. The workouts they suggest really aren't intense so I don't do them, but a lot of the scientific stuff is not something I'd otherwise learn.

No, the workouts aren't that intense, but I looked at the health stuff such as R I C E and taking care of workout related injuries/signs of heat stress, hypothermia etc.
I mean it's a good book for someone who would want to start getting in shape for BUD/S and make something of themselves. There's a lot I didn't know and how important warming up is, along with increasing in strength and endurance.
