Running with Angie time was 46:34 today. Beat my last attempt on 6/6/08 where my time was 55:00. I think I can get it down to 40 next time if I really burn the miles. I was on a treadmill this time so maybe I'll do it outside the next go round.

Couldn't do Angie today because it might of resulted in an overuse injury in my shins. Did the PM workout as rx'd in 14 min.

47:47 by US Crossfit standards

Ended my stint as a US Crossfit intern with the same workout I started it with... only felt like crap, and ran it 2 minutes faster. The only easy day...

CJ,

It was a pleasure to work with you, and I will be in touch re: a reference letter. Keep up the good work at the Naval Academy.

These workouts are killing this 38 year old, but I like it.

I was just happy to complete 'Angie' as RX'd, time was 1:21.38

Lost 2 callouses during the pullups. I've never done 100 pull ups during one session before.

Good job on the workout.

FYI - Angie isn't supposed to be broken into subsets. Some workouts are o.k., but "Angie style" is supposed to be all together - sets of 100 - before moving on. On that note, I think I did the same thing the first time I did the workout.

I didn't do the WOD for the day, it was one of those "make up your own" days. I felt like I needed some variety today. Honestly, it killed me.

First circuit - 4 sets
80lb Dumbbell Chest Press x 10
80lb Dumbbell Row x 10
Situps x 20

Second circuit - 4 sets
95lb Push Press x 10
Pushups x 20
Leg Levers (Raises) x 30

Third Circuit - 4 sets
Pullups x 10
KTE x 10
95lb SDHP x 10

Total time was ~ 35 minutes. The last 2 sets of the last circuit were about 9 minutes of that. I just hit the wall.

I know it wasn't WOD, but it was good anyway.

JMidd, as with all WOD's I believe that there is the Rx version and the scaled version(s), and also the version(s) that you make up if you have an issue that prevents you from performing it as intended.

I know that Angie is Rx'ed all together, however I am dealing with a rotator cuff injury that flares up with certain exercises at high/continual reps. I find that by breaking down large volume pullups/pushups, I can keep the pain at bay.

Thanks for the info - but please be aware that if someone is doing a WOD not as Rx'ed they may have a good reason besides ignorance...
