As Rx'd:

Time: 38:49

800 m run times [mins]:
1. 3:00
2. 3:00
3. 3:05
4. 3:15
5. 3:18

Notes: Really nice workout. I liked this one. Pullups were deadhang. Situps were hand crossed on shoulders, elbows to knees, no anchor for the feet. Runs were on the Treadmill.

As rx'd 38:58..

But I'm not sure Iv'e done the snatches right, usually when two arms should be used the workout says something like "10 reps with each arm".. and now it just said 10 reps... I assumed I should do 5 with each arm? Or should I have done 10 with each arm every set?

I did 10 reps on each arm before moving on. That was my interpretation of the WOD.

It should be 10 reps of 30 pound snatches with the right arm, and 10 reps of 30 pound snatches with the left arm. You can split them up any way you want (10 left and 10 right, alternating sets of 5, etc...)

Damn then I screwed up, well I'll know for next time.

It's just my not-perfect understanding of English or was that not so clear?

this was my morning training

5 Rounds for time of:

10 Dumbbell Snatch (30lbs each arm)
20 Pull ups
30 Sit ups
Run 800 meters (1/2 mile)

Has took me one hour to complete all the rounds.

The snatch were killer.

I am still sore .

I loved the routine.

Sorry guys, but due to my back getting shredded with this week's workouts, I modified this WOD big time.

In three rounds:

10 KB snatches, each arm (16kg)
20 Jumping Pullups
30 Situps
150 Jump rope (which was a bad idea since I'm rehabing my shins

11:28

I'm on my last gasket this week. I'm going to three on, one off until I can build the tolerance for this six on, one off stuff.

As rx'd - 44:00

Kipping pull-ups, runs at a 7:30 pace. This WOD seemed to pace really nicely as long as you keep pushing - no single exercise that absolutely destroyed me.

igurman: I agree it's not perfectly clear. The first time such an exercise was posted I had no idea either until someone clarified it for me.

Time: 40:54, rowing 1000 meters instead of running.

I didn't feel like waiting for the treadmill to warm up so I decided to row. Clock stopped ONLY for the amount of time needed to turn on machine and strap feet in. Started immediately after. Don't know if that's Kosher but i thought it would be lame to lose time due to set up. I made sure that any rest time I took was "on the clock". Great workout though. I'm spent.

Time: 41:21 Runs done on the track.

Legs felt 100x better today. It was a good idea to not push it so hard yesterday.

First, some humor..."Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic man. [GMT] will be that man. Better than he was before. Better. Stronger. Faster."

Anyway, my comeback continues this week, doing a lot weight training these last two weeks to get the various muscles, particularly leg/lower body, back in the game. Did 100 OHS yesterday, but only at 65# just to get back in form and make sure I didn't shift weight onto the front of my right foot. I followed it with 163 consecutive FKs (4-count) unbroken, a PR! Today...

DLs
5x10 @ 95, 135, 185, 205, 225 to warm-up
5x5 @ 275#

Later in the afternoon, "Cindy"
28 rounds + 5 Pullups + 10 Pushups (PR!)
Still balancing the pushups on my left leg, and taking time to set properly for squats to nurse the right foot.

Feeling damn good. BHURB, how ya comin along?

:D GMT I am glad you healing, but, let's face it you're no Steve Austin. You are way too young. I'm picturing Austin Powers here. :D

I did the PM in the AM that sumb*tch brought me to a VO2 max. 6:24.

Nice bud. Grats on the PR, while injured! Did you lose some weight or something?

Did this on Friday during my gym's busy time:

Time: 40:13 (lost a bunch of time having to walk across the gym for the pullups and treadmill runs.)
