Ohhhh PETA...how I detest you..
They're all a bunch of left winged loonies who wouldnt know how to operate in the real world if they're life depended on it, so they hide behind the internet and other forms of media and spout disgusting garabage like this.

As Dennis Miller once said:
"These are folks that have gotten WAY too friendly with the animal kingdom. What happened in these people's lives that they were SO hurt by their fellow man that they had to embrace wildlife with such irrational vigor?"
Pretty much sums it up in a nut shell for me...

Ah yes, then there was the weekend that I almost couldn't get off base because there was ONE gate and the animal rights activists were protesting. We talked about filling balloons with rat blood and standing on top of the building closest to the gate and throwing it at them.

I went to boot camp with JPJ ~ John Paul Jones.. Had to berth with them ole sailors when they would call down SHOW A LEG! We had to throw one out of the bunk to show the hair that we not be of the feminine type ya know! I've coiled the snake of rope around the bitters... I've had to run a seam of caulk and tar down the Devil and Deep! Aye, I've picked salt out of me beard for hundreds of years and chewed my bully boy all day long!

Being of Davy Jones' blood line i know of what yee speaks. I have been baptised by the rain of white squals and survived the breaking of many mast. But, in the end i be deemed worthy by the Great King Neptune himself. Oh yeah and theres nothing like making a kill with old fashioned black powder.. just like the guns used to secure our freedom..HOOYAH muzzleloader.

Swabbie,....You are gettin` old !!....How do you get a 100 year old gun,...on a 133 year old photo ??
I`d love to see it,...My hobbie,...Got all the chunks of good hardened steel,..live tree knuckle, and brass switch plates, brass fence orniments and brass pins,...been fileing and shaveing, sanding since March,...Three quarters of the way to another hand crafted .50 black powder loader. I`ve completely restored over 30 of them in my lifetime. The older one`s are tougher to do from years of adjusting. Some of the old timers wanted spring action guages filed thinner so they can still pull them back, some wanted showroom finished. Cases are hand stiched leather strips to two sides of leather hide, un-split. (wet first to shrink).
Try and figure this one out,....The push rod is the trigger lock,...and a piece of leather is the safety !!

very funny pic! personaly my fav rifle is the remington 270 i have never missed with it..never! But also the old 35 marlin is a great lever action that does not kick to bad and still has great knock down power. .308's another good gun but know getting into the guns that kick. by the way if you see that "tirty point buck" he is mine!

hardhead101,...
I figured the same,...comes with time.
gf273,...Winchester makes a lever action 30/30 brush gun only about four feet long,.light,..powerful for game,..range is not bad,..and you can just keep topping it off as you use it. Very easy to care for and has alot of options for goodies. (easy on the shoulder).

PETA went too far when they were first formed.
Its the lamest and most ignorrant group of liberal hippy fruits that has ever existed. If i werent going to be a SEAL, and spend my time killing insurgents...i would most deffinately spend my time killing PETA :D
