Ok northern friends, were you feeling left out??? What is the deal??? A guy riding a bus, stabs, kills, cuts the head off a fellow passenger that DID nothing to him, then proceeds to eat part of the body. Jeeze we have so many of these nuts, we've got to start letting kids climb trees with out a air bag to fall into. Let nature clean these turds out. LIBERALS left of me, let nature take it's course with out your trial lawyers suing sharks for bitting swimmers.

PUP....but our newspapers or media up here said nothing about eating the victim..... This has got to be one of the most horrific murders Canada has seen.....The victim, an innocent carny minding his own business and a psychopath....lets just wait and see how the courts handle this one!

And here Canada, England etc have NO Capital Punishment. He may have been crazy but this SOB needs to fry for what he did to that poor guy.

I'm usually over at the Fitness side of the forums but I wanted to give my opinion on the matter.
Sealpup I totally agree with you.
Searles, you know our legal system up here. Hopefully this @****** doesn't get to plead insanity, go to an institution for 4-5 years then get out because he's been "rehabilitated". :mad:. Even if he does get a 1st degree murder charge, after 25 years he is eligible for parole, is he not?. Not to say that he will get it but to even be considered for it is a freaking joke. Many people up here are calling for the death penalty to be reinstated.

I read about this when I received the following link. While the story is truly horrific, I just can't imagine sitting on that bus and not trying to do something, anything to subdue the guy.

i heard this story a few days ago, but this is the first i heard about the cannibalism. When i first heard the story it almost sounded made up. I mean what the hell, nobody tried to help this guy getting carved up?!?! i find it hard to believe that there was a bus load of wimps that watched someone get murdered right in front of them. not one person tried to do something??

First time i heard about this story i actually felt a little sick. It's just pure evil. I hadn't heard about the cannibalism part though, do you have a source for that? i just read about the decapitation and gutting...no eating though....
As for not helping the victim out i don't blame anyone on that bus for not like jumping on the guy or something. I mean after watching some of the interviews it sounded like most people hardly knew what was going on before the victim was dead. And with no concealed carrying weapons licenses in Canada (correct me if im wrong on that) what are they gonna do? I sure as heck wouldn't wanna try and disarm a man with a "rambo knife" to help someone thats dead. I think they did the smart thing by locking him in the bus so no one else could get hurt.

I have yet to find or see anything on the news that this has been confirmed. What upsets me here is not only the senseless death of a young man but also how much of my taxes and my fellow Canadians tax dollars will go to this vile excuse of a human being's rehabilitation after he is deemed unfit to stand trial. Or if he is able to stand trial the cost of keeping him in prison. Unfortunately we don't have Capital Punishment here in Canada. But the likes of him and the Paul Bernardo's are a good argument for it. We will be more concerned that his rights are not being violated. Well I want to know about the rights of the victim here....oh wait he has none because he was murdered!!!!!

Your Rant is COMPLETELY understable. The evil nature of some people is so evident.. it cries out for capital punishment... But even with the most terrible crimes...there are some that still say NO! its wrong!

No and I do agree with what Pup has said and Swabbie-100%...but what the media is saying thus so far- 2nd degree murder.....but we do know what our justice system does....prime example what Kaleigh has pointed out -The Bernardo case .... Holmoka got off and Bernado is wasting our tax payers dollars....

You are right jalbers, there is no concealed carry permits here. The loonie lefties expect you to run, call 911 and hope for the best. Trying to understand our firearms laws would make you go insane. You have to remember in Canada guns are the tools of the devil. :mad:
I'm with you 1000% Kaleigh. I do think he should have a short trial, about 1 hour tops. Bring in one or two witnesses, have a guilty verdict then out back for a bullet to the head. It would be a hell of a lot cheaper than locking him up for life.

Some people may be critical about that the people of the bus not helping the victim. So much though depends on your training and your socialiation process. I have never had military training or self-defense. I have not the first idea about what to do with a guy with a knife. My approach would be "Let's talk."
Also, my tradition is not one of violence. We had guns in our family but only the men used them in very rare circumstances. We do not hunt or stalk wild animals. Much less kill them. The women kill chickens or fish but procedure has to be done in a specific way. If it is not, it cannot be eaten.
I think keeping the guy in the bus was the only option they had.

I can see from the reporting and interviews, why no one helped. The guy had stabbed the poor guy so many times before any one knew what was happening, it was just to bizarre. One of the reports I saw was from the police reports, that after the guy killed the bus rider, he went up to the front of the bus and tired to start the vehicle to leave, that's when the bus driver disabled it. Then went back to the body and cut the head off. I really think that is worthy of a death penalty. ANYWHERE!!! Let GOD judge this guy, just arrange the appointment.

PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE, Man. - A man accused of stabbing and beheading a fellow passenger on a Greyhound bus has been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after pleading in court for someone to kill him.
Vince Weiguang Li, 40, is charged with second-degree murder in the death last Wednesday of Tim McLean. Li stared at the ground and wouldn't speak during much of Tuesday's court appearance.
Court heard how, since his arrest, Li has declined to speak with justice officials and a legal aid lawyer assigned to his case.
When a judge asked him if he wanted a lawyer, Li shook his head no and then quietly said "please kill me."
Li's remark was heard by reporters and confirmed by court clerks but was not acknowledged by the judge. He is due back in court Sept. 8.
Witnesses have said that a passenger stabbed then beheaded McLean in an apparently unprovoked attack that has generated headlines around the world.
Li, a former newspaper delivery man from Edmonton who recently immigrated to Canada from China, has not entered a plea on the charge.
His delivery boss, Vincent Augert, has described Li as reliable, hard-working and not showing any signs of trouble.
McLean, a carnival worker, has been remembered by his family as a free spirit who warmed the hearts of those around him with his infectious laugh.

I WISH they could ban those suckers.. but.. what's going to end up happening to them is this.. mark my words.. but it wont be me! These groups are to blame for every other religious organization being called intolerant, they color everyone with their hatred. I was glad to see some local Motorcycle groups forming buffer zones at some of the funeral processions. It irks me to see them being able to 'legally' protest.

The Patriot Riders are doing a Stand up Job of Interfering with them. And, a number of States have enacted laws banning protesting at funerals or withing a certain distance away from cemeteries.
Yea, these people survive by SUING other who touch them or mess with them. Thats why they do this! In alot of ways they dont really even believe what they are preaching. They are just doing it out of hate and out of greed so they can sue whoever messes with them. But -tables have now been turned because a number of families have sucessfully sued the church and won. Now the church property is suppose to be up for sale or something because they lost the appeal on the last case. So it came around to bite them in the A$$ ... By the Sword huh...
