This is directed to anyone who can provide me some information. I work for a police deprtment (I'm not a cop), doing graffitti and vandalism reports, stolen property reports, and crap like that to make the officers jobs easier. Anyways, the other day I am searching this car, and it was nasty, I mean NASTY. And of course my dumb *** didn't put any gloves on. So I wake up this monday morning the day after work, and have what appears to be a zit on my forehead, so I blow it off. Then I wake up tuesday, and it is like a golf ball. So I remember this email they sit out about staph ( or staff?) infection, and I start freaking out. I have been to the doctor, I'm on antibiotics, and am currently in the process of this stuff going away. Sadly, ( since my future goal is to be a SEAL or make it into Special Forces) I have not been to the gym in about 4 days, done any WODs, or any PT for that matter, doctors orders, making me feel rreeaallyy crappy right now.

Okay so onto my question with that tiny bit of background. I am looking for where I can find a really nice pair of gloves, since I do a lot of this stuff at work, that will protect my hands, you know from needles and stuff, and also just to cover them up from any gunk and whatnot.

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated, I DO NOT feel like dealing with this EVER AGAIN.

By the way, it was not MRSA, but it is still a nasty infection.

Again, thanks to anyone, it is greatly appreciated.

Blackhawk offers some great cut resistant gloves catered especially to law enforcement and military personel.

I am actually there right now, and found a pair I really like. They protect the fingers, plams, and are apparently pretty flexible and really durable. I just want to make sure I find a really good pair. This whole experience just sucks. It is kind of like somone put a brick under my skin, and just keeps tapping, real lightly. Yeah, it's pretty annoying.

Hatch makes a really good product as well. I have used theirs for 10 years. Great for searching, hands-on w/bad guys, and the like. They sell them at Galls, among other places. The link is below:

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Also, I have no clue how Galls slipped my mind.

Again, I appreciate the pointers.
