Instead of the WOD this morning I did 5x5 bench presses and incline press. I will do the WOD tonight.

But, did two 1 mile runs 6:58 & 6:35 and then 250 yard swim.

We had a skipping instructor come in a do a workshop with the summer camp kids. I doubled everything and it turned out being a pretty intense workout

I may pop by the gym later thought

I did one of the beatdowns from March yesterday which totalled 225 pullups and overhead presses, so my upper body was wrecked today. With the set of 155# I could have easily cleaned it but I couldn't manage the high pull from the hang because I was so sore.

How were we supposed to execute this one?

Yeah, that's the right one.

The hard part about the clean from the hang is that all the momentum comes from the high pull, which is the pull between your knees and your shoulders. The first pull (for a full clean from the ground) is easier for me because it starts out with a deadlift and so you can pull up more momentum from the ground.
