GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I started this one this morning. All amped up and ready to go. Got on the treadmill and got about a third into the mile. Then some dude got on the squat rack [which is the pull-up bar] and started doing squats WITH JUST THE BAR. I got off and thought I'd wait for him. Then two ladies came in and started walking on the treadmills!!!!!!!!!!

I got p!ssed and left. I'll hit it later tonight.

Hey, what happened to all our posters? Did FGB scare them all away?

OO-FRIGGIN-RAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That one was a blast!!

44.59

Runs at 7 min straight, 7.12 in quarters, and 7.40 in quarters

I know they don't compare to some on here, but I've just come back from a 6 month lay off in running, recovered from shin splints/stress fracture, and experienced a 7500 ft rise in elevation. I'm pretty thrilled.

No pain in my shins, no lunch on the gym floor. All in all a good workout.

Hello all,
Great times.

Done today Sunday, as rx'd 52:00.

I have to say I thought I disliked KTE's but those damn burpees cooked my goose.

I guess I can say I got through it.

:D

No second workout done, my son wanted the chocolate milk I promised as a recovery drink.

Got my co-workers to do the wod with me! It kicked their a**!!! They loved it. Didnt have a KB for myself so used a dumbell. We took over a corner of the gym to get it done. For sonovthegun that had his flow messed up by others, i suggest "caution" tape next time.

Didn't have computer access this weekend so I did my own workouts:

Friday: Rest Day

Saturday: "Deck of Cards": (A=1, J=11, Q=12, K=13, Joker=1-mile run) Hearts were Burpees, Diamonds were 2x pushups, Clubs were KTE's, and Spaids were Pullups. Untimed, but kept a good pace; both runs were about 7mins each.

Sunday: 50-35-20
Deadlifts (135#)
Box Jumps (24inch)
Thrusters (65#)
Situps
Pushups
400m run
Time: ~37 mins (Lower back and legs felt done after the 35 set).

This was my first WOD after a nearly two week break which involved food poisoning, lengthy travel, a few light workouts at best, and terrible diet. Needless to say I was pleased with a 50 minute time (I saw this one Saturday and just had to do it today, it was the first time I could get to the gym between now and then thanks to work.) I'll only be back for a couple of weeks before I go on another two week break, but at least this time it's for a two-week hike on the Appalachian Trail.
