As rx'd: 2:34*

*I feel like I should mention that I unloaded last week. Did all WOD as rx'd but did them slow w/ lots of rest. Needed a little break. Needless to say, I was well rested and "chomping at the bit" for todays WOD.

Did a mini PST after...

Max push ups in 2 mins: 92
Max sit ups in 2 mins: 98
Dead hang pull ups: 17

That's impressive. Isn't the current record right at around 2:00 or a little under. If you can shave 30 sec off you could beat it. Nice work!

Current record is a 2:02 put up on Crossfit.com website Thursday the 26th. Its the one Dive Doc put up. Watch it, oh four days before the guy Josh got his Budweiser put on.

Time 5:08

Thanks fellas. I had to take a minute to make sure I did it right. Didn't have a medicine ball to touch on the squat so used 7 risers instead. Touched every time... Pretty sure it was a regulation Fran.

Any of you guys in Chicago? I'm looking for a partner to crush some of these WODs w/.

did it in 3:40... PR for me as well...
I would rather take 3 helen's back to back, or 3 PST's than a Fran - it leaves my lungs just screaming afterwards

1st and foremost

WOW!! for those awesome times. It is great to be amongst you fellas. I learn a lot.

back to me.. :D followed with a run in the southern humidity and heat. My heartrate never came down like I thought it would. Ran for 18:22.

Crap, I just looked at the workout, and I did it backwards. I did pullups first, then thrusters....

Wow on the times. I knew I sucked today, but wow. I was tired going in, but was actually looking forward to a Fran workout. Oddly enough, I was actually going to recommend doing one this week. I was on vacation last week, so I'm hoping my pathetic workout was a result of laying low.

Fran time - 7:53. After the first set of pullups, I jumped down to do the thrusters, and I couldn't believe how winded I was. I shouldn't have been that bad that early. It just wasn't my day. I may have to come back and do this one again this week.

Ran afterwards. Dead legs. Nice heat and humidity. I've got a triathlon in less than 3 weeks, so I've got to get some time in on the bike and some more running. Can't let my sister beat me...

Nice times rstork, sam, cpeter and wcor! Rstork, ya got me beat by 0:22! I may be on the IR for 4-6 weeks stuck doing MUs, Pull-ups of all varieties and ring dips... but rest assured I'm still monitoring the competition ;)

First time and knocked it out in 7:27. Very excited and felt like I got kicked in the balls at the same time. It's great. The only one I like better is "daniel"

Fran time=2:36

Nice time rstorck, beat me by 2 seconds! This was my second Fran in a week.
I did this last Monday when the site was down on 2:48.

Also, did part of the running. 0.75 mile in 4:28. Did not do the 1.5 mile, or 3 mile runs due to time constraints.

PR is 4:43

Not bad after a weekend of too much beer and ****ty food  along with it being 100 degrees at the house today. Tends to get a little warm in the garage. Good times none the less!

The times posted here are incredible.

As rx'd - 15:51

I'm a small guy and that 95 pound bar just felt so heavy. I also lost my wind very quickly from the thrusters. At least my time will be easy to beat next time I do it!

FYI the 2nd fastest Fran recorded is held by a guy who weighs 135#.

Thrusters used to kill me too. My recommendation: do front squats 5x5 and shoulder press 5x5 max effort once a week. The stronger you get, it will become easier.

Great times guys!

I Started with an untimed swim just to get used to the water again. The first 250m was form adjustment, but once I was dialed in, the swim went great. The different running intervals have definitely been helping me. I ended up swimming a little over 1000 yards in ~20min.

Then did the Fran workout: 5:05 (not great, but getting better).

Sorry to hear about the injurey GMT; best wishes for a speedy recovery.
