Yeah same. I'm really excited to see the results. I'm just going to do a regular Fran though instead of the chest-to-bar because I want to see improvement from my last one.

Fine spoil sports.

:)

As rx'd 50:53, crazy thing was when i ran straight for a mile I averaged the same split time as when I was running for a 10th and walking a 10th.

I've been checking the CF Games site all day...I'm not even watching the competition and it's exciting just to speculate/read the results!

So I did the Games WODs today:

Fran (did the regular Fran, not with the Games standards)
21-15-19 reps of 95# thrusters, pullups
4:38 .. that's a PR by over 4:00 from April .. so stoked on that one.. Sub 4:00 Fran may be in sight in a couple months.

Run: mostly uphill 750m - 3:42. Probably not as big of a hill as at the Games site.

Deadlift WOD
5 rounds of
5 deadlifts 275#
10 clapping burpees
Time: 14:41

Did the first 4 rounds as rx'd but I had to scale down the deadlifts to 225# for the last 3 reps. I tore a huge callus at 10:30 and simply couldn't lift that much weight anymore. I would have made the 12:00 time cutoff if I could have finished that set, but I ended up sucking badly. I still need to get stronger I guess...I can't believe Chris Spealler (5'5" 135#) did that Deadlift/Burpee WOD in 2:41.

I saw that too... the idea of doing 5 275# deads and 10 burpees every 30 seconds for 2:30 is ****ing retarded to me. Guess I need a perspective shift. And I dead 425 at 165 bodyweight. Thought that was good, guess not

Oh man.. sundays wod is up.... 30 reps #155 C&J for time... i think our boy Speal might be ****ed.

Went camping this weekend so I did not have access to the internet. But did a 4 mile rucksack run on Sunday with about 25 lbs.

Time=39:00 minutes.

Didn't have a rucksack and had to run on a treadmill since I wasn't off work until 11 pm. I wanted to run for an hour; so, I ran as many miles as I could in that time:

With the incline set to 2.0 I ran 7.88 miles (PR).
