This is long overdue - as I posted a few times a little while ago...
I had two fitness tests for the Air Force PJ's, through the Air Nat. Guard unit near where I live. Thank you to ROrd for his WOD's and for seeing all of your guys' scores (parishke, gmt-nyc, darunner, and everybody else who I am not noting) - to keep on pushing me.
I passed both tests, the first PAST is similar to the SEAL PST: 2x25M underwaters, 500M swim, 1.5 mile run, pullups, situps, pushups, flutter kicks.
I maxed the first test...
Second test: 4X25M underwaters at 2:30 intervals, 1500M swim, 3 miles run, pullups, situps, pushups, and flutter kicks... and the passed this one as it was go/no-go.
Thanks to you all for pushing me, I have my medical tomorrow and am given dates to choose from.
Keep on pushing everybody - you guys are all awesome.

Congrats cpetersnd. Good luck!
As rx'd:
5x5 @ 135
5x3 @ 225
5X1 @ 285
Missed 315
All sets were "old-school-***-2-the-floor" squats! None of that "it's bad for your knees crap" in my rack.
Leaving for a wedding in VA first thing tomorrow AM. Goal is to sharpen the fangs in the hotel gym tomorrow and scare away the other guests. Looking forward to the beatdown...

WOD:
5 x 5 (185 lbs)
5 x 3 (205 lbs)
5 x 1 (did not complete, my legs were shot)
I haven't squated heavy in a while and my legs were shot from the previous workouts. I used to be able to squat a decent amount of weight. Guess I will have to do some more squat work.
Also, did the 100 KTE's from yesterday in between sets of squats untimed.

cpetersnd, congrats. I am looking into PJ's as well and it's good to hear from somebody on this site. I know for the PAST you can either do pullups or chinups and I'm wondering which one you picked.

Rest day because of me. I did plenty of running and squatting, though. Montezuma killed me all day long. I think I must have lost at least 10 lbs today.

Work dealing me a 1-2 punch the last couple of days. Was able to squeeze in some strength training today, forced to "rest" yesterday. I did 5x5 squats as part of my strength regimen...
5x5 @ 285#
I also learned that I will not be able to take the time off to travel to the Games, which totally blows! While my training has been pared back, I've still been able to knock out some recent PRs that gave me the confidence to at least hold my own against some of these firebreathers. But Wall St is a mess right now, and I need to take care of the business, which as I've mentioned has grown incredibly stressful in recent weeks.
Congrats cpetersnd, and best success brother!

congrats Cpetersnd it's good to hear of progress being made throughout the pipeline.
as for me today my score is:
5x5: 185#
5x3: 225#
5x1: 275#
didn't drop it like its hot to the floor but definitely made my butt go below my kneecaps which is new to me so these are all new numbers as far as i'm concerned. maybe one day i can take it to the floor and say screw you to my knees and joints...maybe one day.

I leave for USAF basic on July 1st and then CCT orientation; the PAST for both PJ and CCT has been changed to only pull-ups for active AF (happened about a month ago). I'm not sure about the ANG though. The first PAST I did I was allowed to do chin ups; I did 15. The last one I did had to be pull ups; I did 13

Dang...you're not competing? Sorry to hear that GMT...I'd be furious if I had to skip an event I had been preparing for.

As rx'd: 5x5:225 lbs.
5x3:255 lbs.
5x1:285 lbs.
Took parishke's advice and did the KTE's between sets. These were brutal as I've put quite a few miles on the legs in the last two days and thrusters yesterday included. But it felt good to put some heavy weight on the shoulders. This used to be my specialty.
Congrats cpetersnd, keep up the good work.

Sorry for getting back so late... I did pullups - but the PJ PAST test they still do let you do both... Good for you man, it looks like its gonna be an awesome ace-kicking program
I didnt have a chance to post yesturday.
I started off to heavy and then burnt my self out.
5x5 @ 225
5X3 @ 275
1x1 @ 315 , could only half squat it, my legs couldn't take any more punishment so i had to call it quits. I shouldn't have increased so much... My legs are feeling it today though
