WOD: 8 rounds and 5 SDHP's.

Nice work on the 14 rounds. The snatches definately ate up most of my time.

Also did 4 rounds of 400m runs & 50 sit-ups. Subbed 50 4 count flutter kicks for 2 sets of sit-ups. Time=13:05

Wow!! Nice on the 14 rounds!

I had lots of energy (must have been the extra calories from the beers and tequila this weekend) but bonked on the pull ups... Was doing sets of 3 at the end. Blasted through the SDHP and snatches.

As rx'd: 9 rounds and 5 sumo's

Grabbed water and went right into the afternoon run/sit ups...

As rx'd: 12:47 (ran on TM @ 6:30 pace)

Worked on my CSS after and then ran 2 miles

Had to jumble up the WOD today due to my present location, where I lack the necessary facilities/equipment for today's WOD. So, I did "Nancy" (since it has 400m runs and I want to continue strengthening my OHS) followed by 200 Sit-ups for time:

"Nancy" as RX'd:
20:31 (PR! by almost 2 minutes)
I had the pleasure of running that damn hill 5 times up and down too! Best part was that all OHS sets were 15 unbroken reps! Hooyah!

200 Sit-ups for time:
8:21
I decided to try something different so I did the sit-ups Army style - fingers interlocked at base of head. What a mother! Normally I do Navy style - arms across chest with hands resting on opposite shoulder until I'm failing then I go CrossFit kipping style to get the reps done for time. Today sucked.

Well, hot d***!!! I actually beat parishke today. You've been my rabbit for quite some time. 14 rounds? Did you get pissed off and turn green or something? That's stout, lad.

10 rounds plus 5 SDHP. I had about 10 seconds left, but figured it wasn't worth starting the Snatch. I like to spend more time with that whenever possible... (ah yes, the jokes just keep on coming, yet, I chuckle quietly everytime)

4 rounds of 400m & 50 situps - 12:10. I was tired.

I have to go to the funeral of a buddy of mine - died Friday after playing basketball. Perfectly healthy guy. Leaves behind wife and 2 daughters - 3&2. It's going to suck. I've got a 2 kids - 2 & 1. I can't imagine. Everyone with loved ones, just remember to give an extra hug and a kiss today, you never know if you'll be with them tomorrow.

Hello all,

Thanks for those pithy words Joe, I will take a moment.

Work out as RX'd 6 complete rounds and into 7th completed the SDHP.

followed up with part 2 and it was 13:55 I correct myself and give myself a time penalty as I wasn't touching my arms to my knees on #4

so 14:10 for that

Great times and wow for 14 you are the stud today.

Uh, where was the second part of the workout posted? 400m runs and sit-ups? Er, yeah didn't see that so did the home-site 5k w/the 25lbs assault pack from the other day... only for the first two miles though, I couldnt hack it any longer and dropped the bag for the last mile (29:48.3 this sucked). Squad p.t. is going to be even worse tomorrow morning.

5 pullups shy from 8 rounds as rx'd in 20min. english that was one hell of a bar you set with 12 rounds. i kept focusing on that number as i was pumping through the exercises but the pullups took no time at all to weaken me.

sorry to hear about your loss jmidd, i'll take a moment of silence for your friend and keep his family in my prayers.

As Rx'd, 7 rounds, 5 pull ups away from 8. Don't reccomend Chipotle and Crossfit hahaha.

3 mile light run 26:31. Tried out my new watch, and Brooks kicks. So tight.

P.S. Just looked at the post above me and we had the same thing haha weird.

Newbie here, just checking for numbers and form. On the snatches, it looks like we are doing a total of 20 reps per round 10/10. Are these from the ground to the squat or some sort of hanging power snatch?

9 for me today. I did two snatches and then ran out of time.

6 rounds + 5 SDHP + 5 snatch each hand

used 35# DB's, don't have 30's. Other than that as Rx'd.

Pullups suck....I have the capacity but the kipping just beats the **** out of my hands. Oh well....
Good rounds guys.... uhhhh 14????

8 or 9 rounds... not sure, this one hurt too much to remember to count.
Pullups hurt me. Can't kip on my bar.....Oh well

6 rounds plus SHDL and snatches, so about 6 2/3 rounds. Snatches were definitely the most tiring.

Nice work guys.

I'm down in TN again hanging out with Hurbenstein (he has a nice scar after his surgery). I got 7 rds, finished the 8th for bonus points.
