This is fake, its been on the internet for a long time. Its pretty obvious that the noise it makes is edited and the puppy doesn't move at all when its thrown. Also, the distance indicates it isn't alive/real.

I am pretty sure I read about this on the news last week. He was discharged due to that...maybe I am wrong but I swear I saw that some where...

Mr. Parker is correct, it is not a fake im sorry to say. The Marine in question has been discharged from my beloved Corps. The other individual has received NJP.
You dont have to align with PETA to think this kind of thing is atrocious. There can be no excuse for this behavior.

Yep, the Marines I have ever known have been individuals beyond reproach. When I was going to enlist in the Marines back in the early 70's something like this .... I dont know... wouldn't even be well, thought of I guess. The Mindset we had to go to Parris Island and inevitably Vietnam was not along these lines.
Now you see why OldSwabbie jumped Mikey3213(or whatever) yesterday when he started dissing the Marines. If only he knew my past!...that I spent 3 Years in Marine Corps ROTC during the last days of Vietnam.

I'm extremely pleased to see that the USMC handled this as quickly as they did.

In a statement, the Humane Society of the United States applauded the Marine Corps' decision to punish those involved.
"The bad actors in this case have been dealt with by the Marine Corps, which rightly recognizes that harming animals is unacceptable conduct," said Dale Bartlett, the group's deputy manager for animal cruelty issues. "Now, the Department of Defense and the Congress must step up protection from cruelty for all animals under the law governing military conduct."
Apparently they missed the deeper reason for the punishments. America is already seen as tyrants by MANY people in MANY countries. If we let our boys go around killing anything they wanted, innocent or guilty, how would THAT make us look?
I was referencing this video to some of my friends, and they were like, "well at least it wasn't a kid". But, I think the psychological implications go much deeper than just cruelty to animals. If it's a puppy today, could it be a child next week?

I've read that! What you said is VERY true. Its said that if someone displays extreme cruelty to animals the next step is often human.
I will clarify extreme cruelty as not hunting game etc. Some people (PETA etc) regard hunting as extreme cruelty.

I like how this faggots excuse is that he is in a war zone and that the rest of us dont know what it is like to be shot at. So because he is getting shot at he apparently has the right to throw a defensless puppy off a cliff????? The last time I checked, there were many troops from our various military branches serving over seas in a war zone honorably. They all seem to be able to handle the pressure without having to kill a puppy. Seems like this guy is a ****ing ***** and I for one am glad he is getting harassed constantly. I hope someone recognizes him for what he did and kicks the living **** out of him.

I know Laney, I WISHED it was too. I believe "A man Reaps what he sows"... I dont think a big ole hand is gonna come down and drop him over a cliff but things have a way of coming back on people if they dont change. I think this guy's name is already mud. Lets just hope that puppy didnt suffer long.

Exactly. Last I checked, puppies aren't the ones shooting at our soldiers....
This kind of crap is unacceptable and only makes the US look bad.
