Didn't see a thread yet for today...

But hell I missed the 400 meters for yesterdays WOD... So it could be on here somewhere.

If so, I apologize for being redundant... If not...

Please post comments, questions and times...

What a ball buster!!

As rx'd: 58:09 w/ 25lbs in day pack

Rord didn't even give me a chance to let the abrasions heal on my back from last weeks Ruck Run... And it only took about 1/10 of a mile before those suckers opened right back up...

Can't wait to see some of the times for this... This was a tough one for me.

Last night at dinner and drinks (lots) with a bunch of friends, one buddy decided he wanted to try one of the CF workouts with me this morning. So hung over, we hit the gym, and I suggested he do "Cindy" since it consisted of familiar exercises and he could control his pace. He got through 17 rounds, impressive for a rookie.

We ended up being pressed for time, so despite my hangover I decided to show him "Fran" as RX'd since it is the quintessential CF benchmark WOD to demonstrate high intensity. He watched as he was still regaining his breath from Cindy.

When done, he asked "what's a good time for this? You did it in 2:56." From the floor I looked up and said, "that's (huff) a good (puff) time."

When I woke up and saw today's WOD, I thought I was having a nightmare. Beatdowns occur on Fridays, not Saturdays! Well, this is gonna suck since I left my distance running shoes in the gym back in the city, and I'm now in the country. I'm gonna do today's monster either in boots and cammies, or in my sprinting sneakers on the nearby HS track since I discovered that outdoor PU bar. Will post again later.

Yeah, well, I don't belong here but these WOD's are more geared towards our gig than the main site. As rx'd 1:05.18, my buddy showed up at the track and asked me what the hell I was doing and I took advantage of taking the time to explain it to him... I should have beat an hour but the thought of that last mile was crushing my spirit.

Good beatdown. Everything went pretty smoothly until I started the 2nd run at 33:00 or so and could barely move. Had to walk a bit but I watched that clock carefully so that I finished hard under 50:00.

Somebody tell me why I have added over 75# to my CFT but I have lost 4-5# off my body at the same time...

Thanks! Sorta, I broke 3 minutes on the "Fran" portion of "Frannie" a few weeks ago. Today felt awesome though, just pounded through everything taking only a few seconds rest between sets due to the hangover. I'm thinking 2:45 is within reach now :D

Wow, amazing time Shane! You too rstork! Good beatdown was an understatement. This one was a total ****kicker.

I wanted to break an hour, but it just wasn't happening. It started raining in my final set of PT, and I kept slipping off the pullup bar on the KtEs. I had to do 1 at a time. Everything else went fine, though, the pull-ups were tough with the rucksack so I had to break them up into 15/10 or 10/10/5 by the final set. Tore a callous too! First time I've done a rucksack run in a while forgot how much it sucks, so I walked around the track for a lap to begin the final mile just to regain some leg strength. I forgot how hard it is to run in boots, this was the first time I did that in a long time.

Funny, I just discovered that I've gained 8# of muscle mass in the past month or so. I'm now weighing in at 195#. Not sure why you've lost weight as it didn't look like you had much body fat to shed.

I don't think a rest day describes tomorrow sufficiently in my case. Hooyah!

Used a 25lbs pack for the runs, took it off everything else.
KTE the worst part for me as well forearm endurance definitely needs work.

solid work bro.. I was happy with a sub-5 til now. That's why I love this community. Smaller than HQ so it's more motivating to me. Did you see speal's 2:06 or whatever the other day? good god.

Strained one of my calf muscles last week so am trying not to do anything to re-aggravate it for a while. So, I didn't do the running portion.

As rx'd minus running - 37mins

haha today I was plottin and schemin'... gmt posted a ****ty WOD time cause of his hangover and Fran.. ganna smoke him.. I'm nice and rested today.. then I just noticed you had a 41# ruck, I was thinkin 25. ****! Yeah there's no way I'm breaking an hour with a 40 pounder. What's your athletic history? I smoke the piss out of everyone I know personally down here, but there are some real mustangs in the CF community.

Solid work bud. Guess I'll have to compete with rstorck now for the 25# division.. not good haha!

Speal is inhuman. That Fran was incredibly impressive. My first Fran attempt was around 9 mins back in mid October. It dropped to 5:38 my second go round, then down to 3:46. It's been creeping down slowly but surely, and now I've got back-to-back sub 3 min Frans. Next stop is 2:45! Hooyah! The main CF site is too cluttered nowadays. This site has a tighter community, and a great competitive atmosphere -- just wait til BHurb gets back, I have a feeling he's gonna be ready to tear it up when his hand heals.

Haha! Get it done *****! I'll be sippin' frozen drinks on the beach with some friends, then watching Italy whoop Spain. 41# was unintentional. I threw my weighted vest (26.5#) in the ruck, which had some other crap in there too. When I weighed it and thought "I don't know what that other crap weighs, but if I take the vest out I'll have to keep reweighing until I take the right stuff out. **** that, I want to get this WOD over with! 41# it is."

What's your athletic history? I smoke the piss out of everyone I know personally down here, but there are some real mustangs in the CF community.

High school baseball, basketball and track (used to toss javelins and discus). Been doing traditional strength training since 1996, converted to CF on October 15th and welcomed in by "Helen," a 10K (my previous longest distance was maybe 3 miles on a TM) and "Fran" in the first 3-day cycle. But the elite CF athletes like OPT, AFT, ATM, Connor and David at BrandX, Brian's army at CF Newport, Pat, Brendan, etc. are freakin' machines. I've met some of them, even worked out with a few - humbling.
