Well boys, the bar has been set for today's Wicked Wednesday.
36:00
Runs were abusive, had to run that damn hill near my house not once, not twice, but THRICE! That hill wiped me out every time. Runs were 6:35, 7:42 and 7:52. You guys are in for a treat!
EDIT: Stork and I posted almost at the same time, so he set the bar. I beat it :P

GMT... I'm sure the EXTRA I added to the workout caused the difference... Ha Ha.
Tell you what... I'll sleep in tomorrow, wait for you to "set the bar" and try my best to give you a little competition.
Have a good one! I'll try to send a little of the 72 & sunny your way in NYC.

Thanks for setting the bar. WOD coming in about an hour or so. I love challenges...We'll see how the 4 1/2 hours sleep last night treats me...

Haha! Didn't see that you upped the weight. My KB is 24kg, 52.5#, and 7.5# probably would slow ya down about 30-60 seconds. Using the bar on squats, ya got me there though. Not sure how much longer that would take. But I'll still raise you some solid hills on the runs. Those suck. Now, if you said you did GHD sit-ups... :D
Today was tough: Time: 35:39. Ran on TM at 6 min. Damn you guys for upping the ante :). I suspect it's going to get a little crazy around here. :p

Runs on treadmill. You guys are studs doing this WOD with the bar on squats, and hill runs. That would have killed me!

36:08.
Ran first 2 miles outside w/ hills in 90 degree weather. Da_runner was calling me out for wanting to do it on a treadmill. Lost about 1 1/2 minutes going back inside for the KB Swings and Squats. Situp in the rocky soil were fun.
I just wasn't feeling it today. The first circuit was way to slow.
No bar for my squats; no extra weight on my KB Swings. I did smell something burning during the first run, but I realized it was just my @$$ dragging.

Woo hoo way to go fellas,
Yep I let my mouth get ahead of my brain there, I only meant to run on the hills not do burpees and situps on them.. sheese.
I died doing burpees, I did superset the squats and kettlebell swings to 20/10
Anyone concerned about time, consider supersetting the burpees and situps. They'll go faster.
I think my long work hours are getting to me. Brain disengagement and all.

I considered breaking up the burpees/situps and KB/squats, but figured this was an Angie style workout where we had to do all of one exercise before starting the next. My hat's off to anyone who comes in under 30mins on this one. A solid butt kicker Rord!

41 mins. as rx'd including the trips back and forth to the treadmill (I ran the miles on a level 3 incline, not sure what percentage that is for this particular machine) and the explanation of what the DB swings and burpees were to a young man not in the know.

wicked wednesdays indeed!
i love doing the WODs at midnight, cause you know when you run by a car on the street they're thinking "call the police, escaped mental patient!" lol
runs were all just over a mile, KB swings were 55lbs, and i liked the squats with bar idea(until i started doing them! hah) so i did those too.
time- 46:44
my runs all sucked except the last one.

47:48 not impressed with the time at all but i realize that i have a year to improve and as long as i keep up these weekly destroyers i'll be ready.
my brothers (20 and 13) workout with me as long as two co-workers and they all complain that you shouldn't keep getting sore every week. i just laugh at them and try to explain that if you aren't getting sore then you might as well not be doing the workout. i especially upset them when i ask them to raise their hands along with me if they liked the workout (especially after a shoulder blast) and they all start whimpering cause they have trouble raising their own arm.
robert, thanks for the small army of devoted workout warriors you've created through this website. reading other peoples replies not only helps me to get through the workouts but also to try and get the best time possible. looking forward to posting better times in the future.

This was a great workout and just what I needed. Runs were (6:00, 6:40, 7:03) so a total of 19:43 for the 3 runs.
