Actually Mr Ord recommends taking Sunday and one other day off.

Another one that when you look at it on paper you think its going to be easy but then it kicks your butt.

As Rx'd and ran on a TM with 1% incline: 20:15

Fun day. I still have to make up that ruck run , although I don't want to lol !

What does RX'd mean. I figure it's when you finish but do the letters stand for something?

Rx'd means as perscribed, or without any changes to the workout.

for example mine wasnt rx'd because i broke up the squats and push ups into alternating sets of 25.

time: 24:38

and how are you guys counting this? im guessing you just start the clock and stop when you are completely finished or are you just timing the excercises?

Ran in park, quite hot. Completed 4 of 5 sets. Didn't time myself. In the evening, I finished the swim sets. I've finally learned the CSS.

Am back from my biz trip, but took a rest day yesterday. I had to make up some interesting WODs due to lack of equipment/facilities while away (and forgot my stopwatch):

5 rounds of:
10 DLs (105kg ~ 230#)
5 HSPUs + 20 Push-ups
30 Sit-ups
40 Squats
~20 minutes

5 rounds of:
5 Burpees
10 Thrusters (50kg ~ 110#)
15 KB Swings (24kg ~ 53#)
20 Walking Lunges
~12 minutes
This was way more punishing than I expected.

100 OHS (95#):
10, 5x15, 10, 5
~15 minutes
I thought about doing Nancy, but with the jetlag/stiffness from all the flights negged that idea.

Work continues to be a massive time drain, highly stressful given this transition and has been limiting my ability to workout. It's zapping all my energy, and every time I think I've got an opening to workout something comes up so it has been very de-motivating. I expect things to calm down soon, I hope, and then I can get back to 2x/days. What's even better, my back is tweaked from the flights - love 8 hrs in coach!

I agree with the "looks easier on paper" comment.....This one was a total *** whip for me. Had to break the sets up at 5x10 on the squats and pushups....Mainly because of the pushups.
So...
Time - 29:18

One of these days I'm gonna beat some of these times posted....

I hear you gmt. My time for training will be drastically diminished during the next month since I am a glutton for overloading myself (I have 3 summer school classes, and work is about a week away from my busy time of year).

Time as Rx'd: 22:09; felt sluggish today.

gliddens: I time myself based on the difference between my start time and my end time for the whole workout--sometimes I'll check the time and make a mental note regarding my pace to see where it decreases/increases.

After today at work, I needed a double session to set my mind right. Guess I was out of it because I thought we were supposed to do 4 rounds, oh well. Took about 15-30 seconds between rounds to record my round times:

2:47, 6:30, 10:51, 15:01

Did this on the track by my house. Smoked the first round (400m in 1:01), then the second 400m my legs felt like they were made of lead (400m in 1:50). The 3rd and 4th 400m were back down to a more respectable 1:29 and 1:34), but I took 10-15 seconds rest after the run on those rounds before hitting squats and push-ups. That rest time was welcome, but hurt my time.

Had to scale and completed 5 rounds of .25 mile run, 25 squats and 25 pushups in 20:01.

Goal next time to do this one as Rx'ed, but I wanted to run more miles and kickbox tonight, and I knew the squats would do me in...and they did!

Good thing I didn't eat a lot before this one, because I would have probably blown chunks...this one was a good metcon.
Parishke, I am honored to tie your time....your times are always ridiculous on these WODs.
GMT, awesome time on your 1st 400...that was my PR in high school (which was mediocre for a track&field athlete)...dunno where my 400m PR is now though.

Oh yeah, weight is back at 148#...my scale upstairs must be wrong because it said I was 141# yesterday...guess I am gaining weight from all this lifting.

Another success today: pulled 276# x 5 on the deadlift today...equivalent to a 311# max deadlift...finally got 2x bodyweight deadlift!
