Will anyone be attending the SEAL reunion in VA around mid July?

I went to one in San Diego, in '06. I don't know who still remembers "Wetwash", he is a Vietnam era SEAL. He and his wife invited me to join them. I met some really interesting people and heard incredible "war stories". In San Diego it seems that you would want to go WITH someone who is a part of the community. I went to a gathering at McPs, and it didn't appear to be an event where you could just sort of walk-up from ouside and join in. I don't know if VA Beach is the same.

He and the AuthentiSEALs guys were at my son's BUD/s graduation as well. I met some pretty awesome people through this site way back!

I miss them all a lot!

Oh, and on the lucky woman part. At that reunion, were some active DEVGRU guys, closer to our age. Holy moly, I was definitely in sight-seeing heaven! (Had to keep reminding myself, look, don't touch. Don't embarrass your son!)

I assume the same is true of the Florida reunion? I saw last year's pics. For those who attended, it must have been a great honor to meet Marcus Luttrell. :)

Lucky, lucky that you are!! I know of one DEVGRU guy, although he's probably in his mid-30's by now that is OH SO YUMMY!!! And the one of the absolute nicest men I've ever meant.

Sight-seeing heaven huh? Again, lucky, lucky woman! Yeah, I can close my eyes and get a "vision!!" :D

Man I hope there are women out there talking about me like that... You ladies need to get a napkin and wipe the drool off your chins.

Ah poor Josh, jealous are you? :)
I'd drool over you if you were about 20 years older!

You ladies make me laugh! I know what you mean though, every time I see my hubby in that uniform... ;)

Sealwife, it's nice to see a married woman still hot for her man!

For me the appeal with these guys was to see guys who are "older" and still taking such good care of themselves physically. And, the "I'm the sh*t" aura doesn't hurt either. It's an all around appealing package. (to look at anyway)

As women, we are expected to stay slim and trim, even after bearing children, to maintain our appeal. While most guys go pretty much to pot after 40. Heck, even after 30! And in reality, it is so much easier for them to maintain than it is for women! Geez. They don't get stretched-out, fight hormones, cravings, all the crap we go through.

Amen to everything you said! I love the fact that I still just stare at my husband like he's the hottest guy in the room :) You are so right though, that little bad attitude does help a little!

Maintaining as a women is hard work! lol! Thankfully my husband thinks of it as an investment, so when I go tanning or get my nails done he doesn't complain. It is so much easier for a man to loose weight than a women, especially after having children! And oh those cravings...

i think im going to have to break out my husbands stew smiths manual to get my pre baby body back. Cause I have tried all kinds of things. the other day he had me doing all of these work outs he does. Its suppose to target your abs and buns which is great cause thats what Im trying to tone up. I went along with it for an hour.. i was doing good and felt fine.. 2 days later I COULD NOT MOVE and I was like that for the next 4 days. Oh my god the pain....

ahh yes... flutter kicks and "monkey ****ers" lol. Thank God for the *edit* on that one! My husband tries to get me to do all that crap to. The only thing that works well and quickly for me is running and swimming. Oh, and ab work almost everyday. I do give it a break when I need to though. When I started running again, it was on the treadmill (which I loathe) and it gave me terrible shin splints (oh the paaaaain!) I ditched the tread and hit the 90 degree weather. The heat sucks, but ya lose weight quick!

I just use the eliptical in my room and I would like to start walking more. I just know that apparently what he makes me do really works because I always feel it the next day and sometimes days after. I dont know what heat you are talking about.. we are stuck in WA state and they keep saying summers here but I dont see it... 40/50 degrees is not summer people! We are from the south though so our summers are obviously ALOT different.

Oh my...Im jealous! It has been 95+ here in Atl. It's terrible. I could totally leave Ga for the summer and come back in the fall.

I can't believe I gave up San Diego weather for the summer to come to AZ where the high here this week is 105! I do all my work-outs inside, and I don't have any equipment, so I'm getting pretty creative! I also take dance classes, which are fun and take my mind off of the deployment. Taking care of my daughter too keeps me pretty mobile :)

Good to hear that I'm not the only one with a man that tries to get me to do his SEAL workouts! He told me that when he gets back from training we are going to start P/Ting together...I hope I survive!
