Hey guys i've checked out of my command in Kings Bay, GA and im on the road from FL to CA... EAST to WEST coast. Right now im in San Antonio, TX (been here b4 at MA "A" school), great place love the atmosphere. I talked to a guy who checked in this week and he said 272 classes up for indoc on June 23rd so Im sure ill be 272! Apparently 150 guys coming down from the pre-buds to be in 272 as well.

"HELL" week will be what it says... im sure the July heat will take a toll on the class. Guys who are heading to Coronado or soon to be there hit me up here or email me masonx34@gmail.com so we can get together.

Hooyah!

Best of Luck to you, keep your head in the game. ONE day at a time son, ONE day at a time. Keep encouraging others and you will find that YOU are encouraged along with them yourself. YOU CAN DO THIS!

HOOYAH!

The guys already in the Fleet (like Petty officer Mason) wouldnt be able to do this...as least this stands to reason. Someone please correct me if I am wrong and I will stand down. They WOULD still have to qualify the PFT though to go to bud/s. I would like to find out exactly what the "Drill" is though so we have the RIGHT information. :)

7 Steps for In-Service Candidates

First, contact your Career Counselor (CC) and tell him: "I want to become a Navy SEAL."

Ask your NC or Departmental CC to complete an NC Worksheet (http://seal.navy.mil/seal/pdf/ncworksheet.pdf) for you.
Submit your completed NC Worksheet online (http://seal.navy.mil/seal/ncworksheet.aspx) or fax it to the PST Coordinator (619) 437-2873 for processing.
After your NC receives the Worksheet confirmation, you must request the PST via e-mail to the NSW Motivators office. The processing may take up to 5 business days.
After you receive confirmation letter with the date of your PST from the Motivators, make sure to show up on time at your PST location. Do not forget to bring a copy of the confirmation letter with you.
Once the PST is completed, the PST administrator will send your results back to the NSW Motivators.
If you passed, the NSW Motivators will complete the endorsement letter and send you and your Command NC/Departmental a PDF copy of the recommendation letter.
Once you receive this endorsement letter, you will need to complete your dive physical or other items for your package and submit to BUPERS 401D.In-Service Candidate Requirements

I'm not sure whether it's standard practice, but the two fleet guys I know classing up with 272 both went to Pre-BUD/S. I think they might all go there.

How close were they to GL? Again, the Navy changes regs change often.
