I was thinking we could start a comprehensive list of items that would be helpful to bring with you to BUD/S, as well as where to get your cammies drycleaned, haircuts, etc.

A friend of mine in my command went through and told me about stores that cater to BUD/S students. I.E. A Barbershop that has a "BUD/S" cut, a hardware store that sell all the neccessary items in a package to keep your helmet looking squared away, even a place that will shine your boots and sharen your knife while you relax. These are all things that will allow you more time to R/R.

Not to bash you...

Their is a thread on this very subject. I am thinking it is pretty old. I have read it before. Covers everything you want to know and are asking about. So you can look for that one yourself or maybe some nice fellow who knows where it is will post the link. Good luck with that. And or, see above...

-Crown Barber has BUD/S inspection cut
-AB Brites was the "only option" until 268/269. Now, from what I've heard, they recommend against it because of the absurd pricing and sometimes terrible work done. However, they do know exactly what you need, and they will always have it.
-ACE Hardware next to Crown has everything you need, though the moo cream doesn't really come in handy. At least it didn't for me.

Bring your balls, your backbone and your maturity, other then that, don't worry about it.
