Will on my way to work this morning my recruiter calls and tells me they are taking 2 guys up to Knoxville tommorrow and was wanting me to go. Had to see if I could take off work and I can. So any tips? Im probably going to eat lots of good carbs, rest real good.

Don't do anything different tomorrow morning than you normally do. What I am saying is that if you eat a bowl of cereal every morning than just eat a bowl of cereal. You do not want to experiment with new foods {carbo load or whatever} or do new things on day of test. Treat it just like any other day of PT and go after it.

Yeah im not changing anything up a whole lot, besides not doing my afternoon pt session. Will just be resting and relaxing, but will be eating a big bowl of good pasta :P. Just gives me an excuse to get my wife to cook it.

Its all in your head. Turn up some tunes, eat good grinds and kill it. Good luck. It ain't no thing. You gonna do it a buttload more times anyway.

What are your PST scores looking like when you self-tested them?
Goodluck on the actual PST tomorrow! Just remember what's on the other side of a good PST score.

Well I havent ever actually done a practice timing. I figure if I cant meet the minimum requirements in the training im doing for the pst, I have no right to try and be a SEAL.

Well you need to know where you stand and which areas you need to improve on...its not about the numbers, its about the progression. The numbers usually indicate the progression.
Good luck with your PST, just remember to relax!

No, it just means that the training you're doing is inadequate. The PST gives you a general idea of your strengths and weaknesses and you can tweak your training regime to work on your weaknesses.
Most people who take their first PST are surprised with their score... Usually a negative type of surprise. They weren't ready for the pace of going balls out on a run after going balls out on PT after going balls out on the swim.

You guys obviously took what I said wrong. I wrestled 12 years of my life, being on a state champ team the last 3. I know what kind of training to do, and how to do it. You dont have to time yourself on the actual PST to get ready for it... This PST isn't going to count against me if I fail it, and I will know what I need to work on after it.
