Package Question [Yes, again.]

Okay, one of my adopted soldiers is getting leave---yay! He's going to go home and see his son and go camping. I'm really happy for him. My concern is this: The letters and packages I send; I assume they'll be set aside for him until he returns. Am I wrong to do so? I don't want to stop sending letters/packages because the lag time in delivering these things--I'd hate to have him be without his stuff--but I don't want to send stuff only to have it forwarded home, then turned around, blah blah blah. Thoughts?

I got my answer! My coworker's husband is Navy and she's sent a kabillion packages and is all-knowing. Yay, coworker!
