You guys have probably had millions of people asking you the same questions about fitness. I know most people answer with "use the search function" and I apologize if i am being an inconvience to you guys but could you possibly give me in detail the workouts or training programs you guys personally used prior to BUD/S. I know im probably over-analyzing things but with your guys past experiences you would really be helping quell my anxieties. any input would be much appreciated.

1. Who are you, Seal?

2. This should be in the 'Ask a SEAL' section.

3. Yeah you are over-analyzing **** way too much.

I know of at least one guy who went through BUD/S on this site and he said all he did to prepare was the BUD/S Warning Order.

Kh8....took me a long while to figure out what that meant haha ... it's confusing when this is a SEAL site.

Haha, yeah I figured it would confuse a few of the people who aren't intimately familiar with 'Superbad' quotes.

Callme,

welcome to NavySEALs.com.

There are a lot of very knowledgable professionals on here that can give you some very valuable advice and suggestions to achieve your goals.

You should become very familiar with the BUD/S Warning Order and also look closely at the CrossFit forum and training sections of the site. Such a general question is very unlikely to garner much interest from BTDTs as they will say the exact same thing you said ... Could the guy not use a little bit of initiative and use the search function!!! Your question has been asked many times and answered in the past. I know it can be a little time consuming, however, searching allows you to become very familiar with the site, the users and more importantly the answers to your questions.

If after doing that, you have a more specific question i am sure that somebody will be able to give you a more comprehensive answer.

Please read the following posting:

Best of luck to you.

A few things teams guys time are very limited and your question is not requiring a team guy to answer. If you are training for BUD/S it cannot be any easier because everything you will be subjected to there is totally documented in print and video. You can read about it and watch it, it could not be any easier in terms of what to prepare for. The how to do it is just as well documented. There are few if any unkowns in terms of what will be required of you and how to properly train for it. You can totally figure this out on your own using books and forums and special programs available such as our SEAL Fit training program where we tell you what to do on two a day workout format.

There are forums that have been devoted to ask a SEAL instructor questions where the instructor have presented their thoughts about how best to prepare. This is where you need to spend time looking around the forums.

I will leave you with one thought that comes up again and again and that is become a very strong runner

Lastly, BTDT people will look at your question and figure you are not serious about this and will pass you by without an answer. Why, beacuse they know all you need is out there and if you cannot find it you must not be very interested. This is not just directed at you but also to a lot of others out there
