Are you serious as is this Kid is? I think that he is doing great! Several Mondays ago, here in San Diego, I observed a group of young men take the SEAL PST. They have all signed up for the Navy and have dates for entering the Navy soon. One of the best scores was:
Swim 8:00 FLAT
pushups 100
sit ups 75
pull ups 10
Run 9:32
One kid performed 22 pull ups. 100 pushups and 100 situps, but he was not one the fastest swimmers or runners. AND THAT IS MY POINT.
You don't have to be the fastest runner or fastest swimmer- YOU only have to put out, never quit and strive to better your performance to be a SEAL.
My hat is off to this young man to post his scores and I hope your level of mental motivation is just as high too.
So if you are serious about joining the Navy, you want to take the SEAL PST for real, and get the SEAL Contract! - send me a PM and I will put you in touch with one of my SEAL Teammate mentors giving the tests in your area.
No KIDDING! We are looking for men that want the Challenge!
go to www.navyseals.com/community/frogman80 (http://www.navyseals.com/community/frogman80) and PM me with your contact information- You will be contacted for further details and obligation requirements to include academic and physical fitness critera! HooYaH!

These are the numbers I put up before BUD/S (just to give you an idea)
Swim 7:56
pushups 125
situps 121
pull ups 29
run 8:42
Times actually got a little slower once I showed up as my body got beat up. PT scores don't mean a whole lot as long as you pass....but you need to be in the best shape of your life before you show up. You don't just want to try and survive BUD/S....you want to perform.
bud/s sucks

Thanks, as the guy above me said, it's nice to have some numbers to work towards. I think the NSW PST's are in serious need of a makeover. A minimum of 42 pushups? We're told (by our mentors) to double that, if not more.

It definetly made the physical side of training alot easier for me than most.
