I performed a search and did not find anything related to this.

I have a friend who wants to join the Navy to become a pilot, and I want to join the Navy and become a SEAL. We have been childhood friends and are both Juniors in College. My question is, without worrying about the process of applying for the reviewboard and such requirements, is there a way both my friend and I can go through OCS together? This is again determined of the fact that we both get accepted for highly competitive OCS slots. I've heard of people being able to do it at Great Lakes.

Again I know there is a lot of circumstances that need to happen, but just want to know if it can only be pure luck or if it can be worked out. Thanks for your help in advance.

There is no buddy program that I know of for OCS. I do know if you apply at the same times and the needs of the Navy coincide, there is a chance.

OCS classes begin every two weeks, if that helps at all.

I have read on other forums that the boards are conducted in January and October, and sometimes July.

Ssisk if you don't mind me asking, what is your OCS package going to look like, regarding GPA, Major, PST scores, LOR's, Leadership, etc? If you'd rather not say on the public board, just say so and I'll give you my email address. I want to know how other future OCS guys are preparing.

Oh and also when talking to a motivator this past year, he told me that the review boards meet in December so the packets are in end of November and then June for the summer
