Hey guys what's up? Sorry I haven't posted in a while but driving across the country and graduated SERE were 2 things that were a little more important at the time. About SERE... I sure do believe that was the most miserable week of my entire life, lol. All I am going to say about it is that there is no preperation that you can do that will prepare for what is to follow. Just know that you will be more miserable than you ever thought possible and keep your eyes on the prize. For me I knew that this was a stepping stone for SWCC, if I didn't pass I couldn't try out for SWCC. I am slowly learning what a lot of the operators have been preaching all along. It's not your physical tools but your drive and mental toughness that you need to overcome these hurdles.

The weather out here in San Diego is awesome and all three of the bases in the area are fantastic. I attended SERE in North Island and that base was more like a resort that a base. Don't get confused though, the field lab was not on that base but a desert 2 hours away. I checked in at the SpecWar quarterdeck yesterday with 3 other of my new SERE graduates at 1600. It was a great feeling to finally get my orders stamped and knowing the adventure is about to begin. Us four have already started building comradre during SERE and I have learned that we found strength in each other. Well if any of you have any questions about how it is out here feel free to ask. If you want to know details about SERE you might be up the creek without a paddle. Hooyah.
