Alright I apoligize for ahead of time for writing so many questions within one thread but I didn't think that they would each be worthy of their own thread.

I live in NY and if I went to BUD/S where will I have to stay on the weekends? Would I have to leave the base and go to a hotel or would you recommend it?

What are the Navy Dive Tables and Treatment Tables & are there any good sites that would provide accurate Dive physics so that I can get a head start on the tests in Phase 2?

What do SEALS do after retirement? Would SWAT hire them? or do they get stuck with more desk jobs?

What's the gap of time between basic training and BUD/S?

If you fail as someone in the SEAL Challenge program while in BUD/S what do you end up doing? Do you enlist for an alternate position in case of failure?

I read somewhere, it might have been one of these forums that you can have whey protein at BUD/S is that true? haha and where the heck do you put it during room inspection?

I'll probably come up with a few more questions.

No more questions ....... perhaps you could spend your time looking for answers to your questions using the search function and/or the internet. To pose a question on a public forum asking where do you stay during the weekends at BUD/S shows me you have made absolutely no effort on your own to read about program.

I am not going to waste any of the people on this forums time answering your questions until you display to me that you have spent time searching for answers or at least understanding the topic well enough to ask pertinent questions.


Everyone knows that while at BUD/S you are given complimentary rooms at the Hotel Del Coronado every weekend starting at 16:00 Friday afternoon including a generous per diem food allowance.
