I'll run thru the basics, Im 19 DEPed into the navy under aircrew. at meps i was BUMED for femoral patella syndrome (essentially it's just knee pain not dillbilatating at all, just hurts a little). this occured when i was about 15, i took ibuphrophen, no squats, rest and it went away and never came back. I got a waiver for this and swore in , no problems. I then went and took the PFT Passed it no problem, took the score sheet to the office, filled out another "why navy?" HW statment and they sent it to CNRC In Millington, TN. they lost it once and we sent another one. 2 days later it came back denied. got denied by the doctor. there was no reason, but the only reason i can think of is this knee problem. this makes no sense to me because it has never hurt other than the one month after it was diagnosed and i run 6+ Miles per day, and swim at least a mile. NO KNEE PAIN AT ALL, none whatsoever. was wondering if anyone knew a way to get a re-evaluation or something to that effect. the only things i could think of to do are:
1. send a letter to CNRC explaining the situation.
2. send a letter to the naval special warfare command in coronado
3. go back to the ortho and get some kinda test to show that my right knee no longer has that problem, then resubmit contract (if that is even permitted)
thats all i could of. if any one has any sugestions or anything it would be greatly appreciated.
