Difficult to explain. Just assume BUD/S has the most liberal liberties of any other Naval "A" School.

During Indoc, you get the majority of your weekends off, but there is a chance of a weekend watch/duty section.
During phase, weekends are your's. I was gone as soon as they secured us Friday afternoon and didn't come back till Sunday to clean my room for Monday's room inspection.

As bud/s sucks said, compared to the regular Navy A-schools, BUD/S plays by "Big Boy Rules".
If you're of age, you can go out and drink. You can have a car at the barracks. Civilian clothes as soon as you check into the Center.

I apologize Byrant. I didn't want to sa you have all the time in the world to o whatever you want, because hat would be false. I ddn't want to say you could do something or another and then you get there and some special crcumtance arise and you think I wa lying to ou orhadn't a clue as to what I was talking about.
When the day is done, you're done. Do whatever you want. You can go and get hammered monday night after you first day of first phase, as long as you're back a the barracks by the time set orth by thestaff at that particular ime. Ater hellweek though, there aren' really mny restrictions. They could care less where you stay.
Again, sorry about the typing, it'smycomputer.

A friend who is in PTRR for 271 says they are transitioning all post standing to X-div guys. More libbo for the guys still staying inside the box.
There are like 80-90 guys already in PTRR and 150 coming from Great Lakes who should be there now. He said there will be almost 300 for indoc. Thats alot of guys...

...and the number of guys getting through hell week is relatively the same every time. Hopefully this next group of guys got their asses handed to them at Pre BUD/S so there won't be so many drops. But doubtful.

it sounds like prebuds get's you physically ready, but I don't think there is a program in the world that can get you "mentally" ready for the continuous butt kicking. I bet if research is done on the classes starting after the prebud/s classes, there will be allot less performance drops and overall, the conditoning is much higher. All's that is left is injury drops and mental drops.
