Hello all,
I want to thank any and everyone in advance for any help they can lend... I am pretty sure this question has been answered before, however i have picked through these forums for the past 4 hours (no joke) looking for the answer and I cannot find them. Im probably looking in the wrong spots... but anyway here is my question:
1. I have seen the requirements to meet prk surgery and your eye sight cant be worst than 20/200 in the worst eye... well i have 20/400 in my left eye and 20/200 in my right... now i have been told by a Navy Recruiter who tried but failed the pst for SEALs and he told me i could still get prk and still meet the requirments for BUD/S. is this true? and if not would it be a bad idea to have lasik done before i join?
And also...( i feel like such a new guy asking this) but im just a 18 year old kid with a dream (to pass BUD/S) and im not wanting to do this for the wrong reasons, i really want to do this for myself and my country... but i really need some guidance... I have been talking to recruiters from the Navy, Army, and Marines.. just to make sure this is exactly what i want to do.. and between all that im in a total kaos state right now... and i just need someone to point me in the right direction... again i really appreciate it.. =)
