This Saturday, the 29th, I am going to the NSW event at The Villages. We are gonna do a PST and meet some bad asses. Special boat team (SBT-22) and (SBT-20) are going to be there.
I'm looking forward to meeting the guys that work on these teams and if anyone has some good questions about what they do - let me know.

Ask them why they wanted to be SWCC and what is keeping them in. Also, ask what you need to do to become SWCC, even if you are just going for the dog and pony show.

First off, the event was awesome. There was about 80 people that did the SEAL challenge, one of the team guys even did it with us. I met Lt. Thomas Norris who was awarded the Medal of Honor. A 77 year old retired Navy Captain parachuted in with the flag to kick things off. Then the Leap frogs jumped a little later.
I spent some time talking with some of the team guys and some guys from SBT-22. You ask why they chose SWCC. A lot of the guys I have met didn't even know what SWCC was the first time they went to the recruiters office, and specifically one of the guys I talked to said his recruiter had never heard of SWCC. From my experience, guys hear about it and it sounds a helluva lot better than the fleet, and the ones who make it - love it. One guys I talked to said he chose SBT-22 because of where there deployments are right now (not sure if I should specify).
I have also met guys for what ever reason aren't going to be SEALs - and thats why their SWCC.
Just a little of my background. I have a SWCC contract, I'm leaving in April, My last PST was: (swim: 8:14) (PU: 66) (SU: 79) (PullUp: 18) (Run: 9:17). This site has helped me a lot and I will return the favor after boot camp, ect.
