transfer branches?

can you still become a seal if your in a different branch, eg. i'm in the coast guard (dont ask why) and i want to know if i have to wait till my contract is up with the guard before i can apply for BUD/S or can i go before it ends. if so how do i go about doing that?

You have to be in the Navy to be a SEAL. Talk to your career counselor about getting into the Navy... you may have to wait until you enlistment is up.
