Hey guys, just letting yall know how I did on my 30-day PST. First off I would like to say that I got screwed by my monitor. He was a second class diver doing his first PST and we were swimming in a 50m pool in Mayport, FL. He had us start at this ladder about 10m away from the side of the pool. Knowing the conversion I knew that normally you just swim 450m and that counts as your 500yd swim. The actual meters to yard conversion is 457.3m = 500yds. Well this guy has us swim the other way, towards the farthest wall and them swim back and that counted as 1. After I told him what the conversion was and that he was wrong, he didn't like it to much so I just said **** it and swam it anyway. Well I ended up swimming 490m instead of 457 so I actually swam 535yds... o well.

Swim: 11:47
Pushups: 96
Situps: 101
Pullups: 16
Run: 9:44

I still felt I did well but not as well as I should have. Well thanks alot guys for all the help and advice. You guys who want to go but haven't finished your package, GET THAT **** DONE SO YOU CAN DO YOUR DREAM JOB! Me and my wife are leaving tomorrow to Coronado. I will keep yall updated.

Awesome man best of luck to you! I go to SWCC school this summer cant wait! Good numbers to man. While your swim time is nothing to rave about as long as you can keep that pace for 2+ miles you should be fine. Try to remember that no matter how rough the suck gets, quitting is not an option!
Go hard or go home man!

Hey Blenk im stationed in Mayport, where did you go for the rest of the pst? I'll have to make sure to get the actual length on the swim.

Kickass scores dude, legit for sure. You may not be that happy with the result of that swim but I know you will do awesome at SWCC school! Stay safe and alert on the drive to cali, and give me a call when you get there.

Nice scores man (I know I'm late on the bandwagon for this one). New goal. Triple digits. Get 100 or better on Pushups, Situps, and under 10:00 on your swim and run. This means, get swimming brother and edumacate your proctor.

What would you say was the hardest part of the test?
