I was wondering what my chances for getting a chance at BUD/s would be. I am 32 years old but I am in good shape and working at getting in better shape everyday. I wasn't sure how strict the Navy is on its age rule for the SEALs. If someone could shed some light on this for me I would very much appreciate it.

Thank You, Dan

Cut off is 28. Waivers are out there. I say try and see what happens.

I agree with dfc the waivers are out there and you have to do really great on your pst and just apply see what happens, worst case senario they say no.

I believe someone graduated last year at age 37.

You are going to have to score off the charts on the PST to stand out because of your age waiver, but I say go for it...

as far as color deficiencies, are there waivers for that? and if there isn't, if I'm able to get my vision corrected, would I still be able to get a shot at BUDs even though I would be using contacts to improve my color vision? I read about a doctor in MD who specializes in color vision deficiencies and has had 100% success rate when it came to patients passing the Ishihara Color Plate test. Here is the website, www.colormax.org, if anyone could help me out with this I would appreciate it.
