my dh found this site and I thought it was actually a really good idea. Our son has behavioral issues that we struggle with and so I think Im going to buy this book and see what happens with it. We don't live in an area where the show comes on t.v so we'll just have to get the book. The site is www.froglogicconcepts.com my son loves to read and he'll probably love this book especially since yesterday he and our daughter were out in the yard playing navy SEALs and SWCC. He's all about it right now so maybe this will teach him something.

I have found through my own son who has a few behavioral issues that letting him watch the military channel and the SEAL show in particular seems to help. He even says yes sir and yes ma'am.... and now aspires to be a SEAL later on when he gets older. He loves to try and match them in their physical fitness, which has given him even better behavior since he is so busy working out and trying to be like them that he rarely misbehaves now. He is doing better in school now too...... and reads anything and everything about the SEAL teams and what they do. I have bought him several work out tapes to help..... he loves working out " with them" and loves feeling like a part of a team. He even keeps his room clean now, or cleaner than he used to.
Whatever helps... raising kids is an experiment in what works and what doesn't.

yeah breezy he watches those when they are on. I just thought it was funny that they were playing SWCC and SEAL because normally its just one or the other.. I guess he figured he needed someone to insert and extract him in the bushes so he was the SEAL and my daughter was the SWCC lmfao. My son has good grades.. hes even a grade ahead ( he skipped a grade). Its just his attitude is terrible and he has some serious aggression issues and we're hubbin major HELL with him. He's seeing some counselors now and they are going to test him to see if he has something that might require medication, wich is something I did not want to resort to ( meds ).

Get him involved with plenty of activities that teach self control.....Karate and and the like are good for that. You can also get him involved in sports. This helps him expend more energy and helps with his attitude since he will be busy and or tired after the activities.
You can also get him involved in the local military programs... sometimes they have weekends and or activities that kids can do with others of like mind. Meds may help if all else fails. Try to give him as many options to expend energy and have fun......the busier kids are the less trouble they get into sweetie.
You can chat with me anytime if you need an ear or just a friend.

**** thats a long time to wait. hes only 8 ! LOL. They are running an ADHD evaluation on him now. The therapist and his teacher says he shares A LOT of qualities of ADHD. His teacher got excited when I told her he is being evaluated... so yeah if they have that big of problem out of him at school they should come over here to the house and take a seat.

Hey dw, we haven't talked before but I thought I would offer my support. I am a mom of an ADHD kid, and I know how hard it can be trying to figure everything out. Constantly wondering if you are doing the right thing especially when you add medicating into the mix. So if you want to talk about it or just vent let me know. My middle son is the one who is ADHD, he is 6 1/2yrs old and has been on the medication since he was 5. I am lucky that he only has 13 kids in his class and his teacher should be named into sainthood for all of her patients and teaching skills.

When/where is it?
More details please.
I've read over some of the site and have sent in a request for more info.
Any more general info would be awesome!

Thank you!
