Trying to join.

I am currently not in the Navy.

So am I right in thinking that I sign up for the Navy and once I pass the 8 week basic training then I can go onto Seals training?

I have read on this website that it's a 12 week course?

I have been in contact with my recruiter and he said that I need to join the regular navy before I can go in.

I just wanted to make sure I haven't been pushed into training without the opportunity to join the Seals.

So far it seems you are more than way off. What exactly do you even know about SEALs? just look everything up.

If you make it to BUD/S with the aditude to just try and become a SEAL, then don't even try, you'll DOR or will be dropped for poor perfomance.
