Well I'll be damned if I'm gonna let King Henry beat me so his time was my main motivation today:)
-Warmed up with Armstrong
-Subbed 2.5mi stationary bike for 1st run: I gotta tell this story. We just got these two new bikes in the gym that have these LCD monitors attached to them and they have bike courses on them were you have characters and can choose the trails you want to follow. It's like an exercise video game. You can also race other people. It's pretty sensitive to hills and what not so it was an incredible workout. So of course I had to try it. But there's another category on it called "adventure races"....so I'm like hmmmmmm. I chose some random one and I found myself in a chariot race! HAHA! So I had a blast with that and was enjoying mowing b!tches down with my chariot....and ended up going about 2.5 miles and burning 150 calories...and was sweating profusely!
Time~10mins
-WOD: 11:45 (last two rounds got tough....shoulda had 10 mins though...that's just me getting back in the swing of things after being sick for a week)
-1600m Row (cause all treds were in use): 6:20

Hey all. I've been away for the last 10 days and this was my first day back at it. In my line of work I have some cool perks and this week I had the opportunity to put some rounds downrange on the Barrett M107, so no complaints about missing out on the CrossFit for a few days :D
We got about 8" of snow today and work was closed down, and so was the Y, so I modified this one to be able to do it in the cramped comfort of my bedroom.
2x the following...
5 rds
10 burpees
15 HSPU (assisted)
30 squats
Set 1 = 14:28
rest = 2:00
Set 2 = 14:35
tot = 31:03

After reading Rsctt's post, "BUD/S Will you make it through?" this morning, and decided to challenge myself a bit by doing the WOD with a rucksack, which weighed in at 31#. Ran the first mile with the rucksack, outside in cold, slushy conditions, then went back into the gym, ran up the stairs, got into the first round of burpees and on the second burpee - pop! My nearly two decade old Jansport zippers busted, and my gym pants, the 10# container of brown rice, etc. all popped out onto the gym floor. Rather than try to fix I kicked everything into the corner and continued with the rest of the WOD. It was quite a scene. People were already looking at me funny running through the gym with a backpack, but when the brown rice hit the floor I could only imagine their faces.
Too bad, was feeling great after the first mile run...
Run 1 mile: 7:32 (w/ 31# rucksack)
5 rounds: 11:40
Run 1 mile: 8:36
Total: 27:48
Guess I've got to get a new rucksack ASAP.

Sorry I've been in exile. Been leaving the house at 6.30, before the gym opens, and coming home at 10, after the gym closes, every day since Tuesday. Saturday......no excuse. Slept all day.
Did this one minus the runs. Streets are a death trap. Temps been hovering around 32, plus or minus and the sidewalks are virtually [I'm not exaggerating] untraverseable.
time=13.01
My wife did this too, she hates me now.
