I just took the pre-asvab test on military.com and here's how I did in percentage:
GS: 68%
AR: 70%
WK: 77.1%
PC:93.3%
AS: 40%
MK: 72%
MC: 52%
EI: 30%
As you can tell, I won't be an electrician or mechanic any time soon!:o But I'm kind of proud of my grammer[and kind of my mathematics]. Does anyone know if these grades are good enough for SEALs? I know all the recruiting sites show this plus that plus this has to be such and such, but I heard a guy say that the only scores that were mentioned on his SEAL contract was his AFQT[VE, MK, AR]. Anyone know about this?

ASVAB (SEAL): GS +MC+EI = (Min 165) OR
ASVAB (SEAL): VE+MK +MC+CS = (Min 220)

It depends on which test you actually take.

The mock test at the recruiters station really wont tell you much how well you will do. Just go take the test at MEPS well rested and fed, you will do just fine. There are ASVAB books you can pick up from the library, read them if you want extra prep before the test. Just dont sweat it.

You shouldn't be.

I wouldn't worry about the military.com ASVAB. Just do well on the one at MEPS. Your recruiter should have a mini-ASVAB which is a better indicator on your percentile and GT score.

You are right, I actually did pretty well on just a 10th grade education!

When I took the ASVAB at MEPS it was pretty easy. My major down fall was that you are given something like 3 hours to get done, but I rushed and was done in an hour and a half. So don't be like me. Take your time and make sure you score well. I still did ok, (89), but I think I could have done much better had I taken my time.
