I need to lower my swim time, is there any kind of excercise in the pool or outside the pool that can help me lower my swim time? Thanks in advance.

This site is here to help people who are serious about training. One of the guidelines I use to gauge how serious someone is would be the amount of research they have done on their own prior to throwing out a question. In your case it appears as if you have not done anything, the first thing you could have done was use the internet and search for swimming.

Secondly the way you phrase a question will play a large role in the response or lack of responses you will get. Your question is really quite silly ..... I want to swim faster is there anything I can do ..... ?

What I am trying to do is to get you thinking about doing a bit of research on your own, so you understand the topic and than if you have a question feel free to throw it out there. If you understand the topic than perhaps a hypothetical question might be would I improve my freestyle if I was to breath every three strokes instead of two. This way readers understand that you are at the least somewhat familar with the topic.

Imagine for a second that you are very knowledgable about training, would you respond to this question? I want to be stronger is there anyway to do this?

Do some research, show me you have made some effort and I will do my very best to help you with your training

I just started recently and found the CSS while lurking around on here. Also i read 'hypoxia' training (low oxygen) will help your body perform better with low oxygen thats induced during swimming. Aside from that, all i have been doing is just swimming. Freestyle, breast stroke, back stroke, use bouy's to swim with only legs or arms, CSS, and tread water. Rsctt83 did hit the nail on the head though, since Gore invented the internet knowledge is very easy to find. I always start with google, an empty search box, and my thinking cap.
