I have to loose some weight fast. Does anyone know of any pros or cons to using a sauna suit?

Sure. You'll lose water weight...entirely. Don't think for a second that any of the weight you're losing is fat, it's not. All you're doing is artificially elevating your body temperature to force you to sweat and thus lose water weight. Depending on how fat you are, you could lose a significant amount of pounds...perhaps up to 15 or even 20. At that point, you're probably deeply dehydrated and in need of medical attention. Oh, and you're physical performance in all areas will go directly in the crapper. Mental performance too...

In a nutshell, i'd only do this is was a true life or death thing. Otherwise, plan better and take a healthy, long-term approach, even if it causes you some short term grief. There are no cheap and easy fixes when it comes to physical conditioning and health.

V, I appreciate your reply and I agree a healthy life style is the way to go. The reason I'm doing this is because I need to loose a few inches off my waist before my recruiter will even let me go to meps. I'm not a huge tub of lard but I do have a bit of unwanted weight.

Thanks

Well, the real question(s) then is how long do you have? And, how much fat do you need to lose?

I have one week, and I need to loose 3 inches off my waist. I'm dieting and running every day. Attainable?
