This workout combines the popular aspects of "Fran" and "Helen" into one great workout.

Keep the intensity high, and post a good time.

Hoo-Yah to Neumiester, Gioflo, and Mike, who all did Fran in less than 4 minutes yesterday. That was after getting beat down on the beach and in the surf for about an hour. Today you guys can do yesterday's workout.

Hoo-Yah!!

A little weak minded today. Hit that wall I normally push through, but this time it didn't work out so well.

As RX'd. Took 20mins. mainly due to the raw skin on underneath my toe...effects of the Rucksack Beating from yesterday!

Tough time getting through this one with the flu, but hopefully beat it into submission.

175ish/24

Gotta admit, my thrusters were more like deep push presses 50% of the time. Not a conscious thing, but definitely one I have to improve on. Other than that, not bad.

19.06

Took me about 30 seconds to get to the street to run.

10:40 + 1:37 = 12:17

Excellent workout! The 10:40 included 21 15 and 9 as RX'd except for the final 400m run because when I finished the 9 PUs all the treadmills were occupied. Of course the rowers were vacant, so I ended Frelen subbing the final 400m run with a 500m row in 1:37. The row was punishing. I then fell off the rower and laid on the floor a while studying the ceiling tiles. I am happy with my time considering that while I was in the middle of my 2nd 400m run I saw some rookie trainer study my neat little workout area, then proceed to pick up my 24kg KB back to the KB area! After the set of 9 thrusters I had to run over to the KB area and do the swings there, then run back to do my PUs. Also burned my hand on my oatmeal this morning, but was able to keep the blister on my thumb in tact throughout the workout. Also, a couple of weeks ago "Frelen" had 65# thrusters, and my time was 11:46, so taking 0:31 longer for an extra 30# of load is a great trade in my opinion. Now to get sub 12 min next time!

I missed this one last week but it looked so good and I saw such good times (alexsmurray) that I felt challenged to do it.

Frelen (an ugly name for a chick, btw), as Rx except DB instead of KB:
t = 14:44

Man, I'm sick and it sux....it's been such a long time since I've had a fever. Anyways, did this one today but at a moderate pace.

T=13:23...decent but I'm sure I could do better. I didn't dare run faster than 7min/mile on the tred. I would've thrown up for sure.

I HATE being sick:mad:
