Rord, you are the man!!!!!

I love this workout, did a really similar one [which was actually a sub for this one exactly, but couldn't hang the rings that day] myself a while back. Gonna hurt tomorrow after the ring pushups on whenever, but as meat-heads [and Marines too, I think]:
PAIN IS WEAKNESS LEAVING THE BODY
Sorry, had to throw that in there. Interested to see the scores. Last time I hit this mo-fo it was a little different
1-10-1 DL, 7/8 Bodyweight Bench, Glute-Ham Sit-ups took 42.50. That was back before I could post.
Hmmm........looks like FUN.
Good luck guys

Just scale the Workouts of the Day so that you can do them in 20-30 minutes while working really hard.

The other thing, they will probably ask you to change your board name, as you are not a SEAL and we have several SEALs on this board.

Check out the WOD section of the site. That's what we do every day. Also check out CrossFit Kids [no offense dude, this carries up to high school students]. They have tailored down WODs[workout of the day] to get you doing the same stuff we do without breaking your back. Do that for a while, and once you're used to the combinations of lifts, "cardio" and calisthenics we do here, you can transition into the much longer and harder stuff here.

Also, I second what nak2000 said. Change your name right quick. You'll notice that people on SpecOps boards are VERY sensitive about people using titles they haven't earned. So change your name even to "NavySealHopeful07." I'm not a Seal, but I've seen people get blasted and banned on this and other boards for "posing." Not calling you a poser, but you're not a Seal...yet:)

Stick around, work hard, and you'll make it. No one hangs out here if they don't have confidence. Consider yourself a permanent resident.

Regardless of the title "issue" I like the kid's spirit and motivation.

Keep it up!

I played 2.5 hours of fullcourt basketball. I was pretty much dead by the time I made it to the weight room. Anyhow, due to time constraints I did up to 10 on the pyramid in 15 minutes. My sports trainer buddy also gave me some tips on technique for the deadlift. Wished I had them sooner. My back is killing me.

DL: 150# (I feel weak posting numbers like that). Hopefully things change soon.

These workouts always look easier on paper...

M/23/178 lbs (lost 6 since last week, don't know if I should be happy or sad)

Time was 34:18, almost lost my lunch on the way back down the ladder.
Also did the pushups on dumbells since my gym doesn't have rings.

CFT Deadlift is 375lbs so I used 185lbs. Did push-ups on parallettes.

The SEAL fit run workout looks killer and I'm dying to do it but alas my knee is in a lot of pain so I think it would be smarter for me to rest and stretch so I can make it through Pre-SOF training tomorrow. Hoo-yah!

Seeing some sick times from you guys, twice as fast as mine! And to the guys who scale the weight--No shame!! Form is so important in these lifts! Get the form down first, the weight will come.

Today I really lucked out. Was warming up on DLs and asked one of the regulars for some tips as I know my form is not yet right. Then one of the YMCA floor guys comes over and offers a ton of help. He's an older guy, turns out a former competitive oly lifter. He evaluates my form, offers some more tips, re-evaluates, "bring your arms in closer...start with your hips higher up..." it was great! He helped my DL to feel so much more balanced and right. The guy is a goldmine of info and what was great is that he came over to me and offered help, it's awesome when experienced people offer help and encouragement willingly. THANKS PETE!

man i hate DLs on a straight bar. i usually use a hex, but the gym got rid of it?!?!? i woulda taken it, lol. twice i scraped my shins with the bar and the trainers made me go get bandaids for my booboos, lmao, so my time is a little warped.
crossfit total lastime was only 295 (used to be 335!), but 145 wasnt enough :

used 185
pushups on dbs.

time- 28:37 with bandaid breaks

started an athletic club here at school(your talkin to the pres, btw ;P) so did a nice run instead of SEAL fit. threw in some interval training and pt, good times.

Did it at 225 with ring pushups: 26.49

Subbing 132 ring pushups a few days back to make up for the muscle-ups I can't do definitely hurt me here. Note to self: don't be pro-active and think you'll one-up rord by working harder. He'll kick you'r @$$ all by his lonesome self.

Thanks rord. Good job guys, some damn sick times going around.

225# DLs
Ring PUs (rings were a little over 1' off the ground)

Getting over the hump on Push-ups (18-20-18) was the devastating. Love it!:D Great workout to do at 6AM. Banging the 225# on the floor definitely woke some of the other gym patrons up... hehehe.
