ok I just came from chemo ... and normally I would be all about being mean and all but I got to thinking today that I need to make sure that all those who I care about know I care about them... just in case tomorrow doesn't come.. ( Yeah I love that song)
SO in that sense...... I love my hubby more than life itself because no other man I know could do what he does with half as much class. Granted when your wife's hurling at your feet like every few minutes holding her hair and all is romance at that point. ( I could do without his gagging in the back ground but you get the jist... ) He holds my hair .. pets my neck... mumurs sweet nothings and nonsense until its all over with. This is the same man who hurtled two hospital beds to get to me the last time we had surgery because I went into cardiac arrest. So yeah my knight in shining armour isn't so bad..... in fact he is pretty good even on his worst days.
Now... Doc... my lil snugglebunnykins,,,, what other brother could put up with as much torture that I put you through with even a smidgen of your incredible sweet strength. What man would cuddle his lil sis evenover the computer when theres a good chance she is gonna hurl in your boots.
SEAR... you angel...... no other girl could keep me laughing with such regularity....... Even when I really can't think of anything laughable. I mean.. your a true angel love.
Shar ... court... and the rest of you crazy ladies are my own personal cheerleaders ( picturing the dallas cowboy cheerleaders here) and boy some of yalls ideas....laughs..
Jeff... Scott..... FX... and the lovely FRogman80 are my lil light at the end of this tunnel.... Im figuring each time they bruise my arms..... I close my eyes smile as I imagine yall ripping the docs and nurses to shreds... while I have popcorn on the side/
So anyways............. thanks to you all...... you keep me laughing......smiling... spewing coffee ...... shaking my head and happy as I could ever be... and some of you even fuel my fantasies... LOve you all more than I could ever say.

You are quite simply the BEST :D if i had half the amount of strength, heart, resolve and determination that you do ... id be a hell of a man. Were all rooting for you :)
On a lighter note ... ye even id hold your hair back, pet your neck and whisper sweet nothings in your ear too while you hurl down the loo ... but if even one drop got on my shining armour ... there would be hell to pay after ... and you could forget about breakfast in bed too :D
I know when i speak for everyone here when i say ... Quite simply ... You ROCK xXx

Awwww Doc just knowing you would hold my hair...... sighs and swoons at your feet... your such a manly man.... cause their aint much more manly than one who could hold your hair and let you throw up on his boots lmao.
Curls up..... and the whole I rock thing...umm no I am just too damn stubborn to ever let anything beat me..... and or give up. I figure if Im breathing im gonna have some dadgum fun....... hence the hubby's less than stellar attitude........ I decided to text and phone sex him while in chemo...... Little did I know he was in a meeting with his superior officers lmao.. luckily they thought it was funny cause they know me lmao

Bree....what can I say. With all you have to deal with, from supporting the hubster, catering to the children, Doctor appointments, chemo, running a household...you still take the time to let us know how you feel about us. WOW!! You are one AMAZING WOMAN!!
Anything that I can do to help brighten your day....just give a shout out! Let's all raise a glass to Bree!!!

Bree, did you say your hubby is going out for Special Forces? Is he Army or Air Force? What are the ages of your little ones? Any of them old enough to help out...especially when your husband is training. I would imagine that if you live on or near base you'll have a decent support system with the other wives. That's one of the positive things about being a military wife.

Wow! You have two sets of twins??? That would be enough for me...
Bree, I may have you confused with a previous member from the old board. I thought you were married to a Navy guy and living in Virginia. So if I'm confused, I apologize.

Yes I am one in the same.....my Navy Husband went to Jail for dependant abuse....... and was kicked out of the Navy.... cant remember what article it was he was kicked out ...... ( He molested a child) we divorced..... and I moved back home to FLorida..... where My husband now who had known me all my life decided to take his last shot( we had dated on and off after I graduated High school)
He won me by being really annoyingly persistent and we had the munchkins..... and then well whamo another lil monkey wrench came about and now well we are working through it all.
I have two exs.. one a wife abuser and one a child molester....my taste in men sucked ***... smiles and there you have it

You know... You touched on not only a very good point but certainly my heart as well. :o
How many of us take a moment just to express a moment of "Attitude with Gratitude"..?
You certain have, Dearest Bre-Bree.
[incidentally, my daughter's name is Brianna- we call her "Bri-Bri" (or Bree-Bree) for short because that's all she can pronounce just yet...]
To stop for just one moment in the Zen "now" of our daily lives- even within this computer realm and acknowledge that there's a very real person on the other end of our keyboards and screens... Well, it means something to me; even if there's a certain exestential realm to my consciousness... :p
Has anyone said "Thank you, Bree."?
"Thank you for being here."
"Nothing more- nothing less."
I offer simply 'Thank you' for being.
For handing over a piece of yourself [no matter how naughty or nice] and for giving us your time.
Time which none of us has in abundance- for we all must choose to be in a thing or a place or a time- but once chosen, that time is spent like thread for a blanket which one day will be used and gone.
To each of you- I offer my thanks...
My thanks for beign here.
For giving of your time.
For offering pursuit of even my most banal questions- and laughing at my silly one-liners.
There's a Zen koan that says;
"One stone cast to the sea makes but small ripples. Thsoe ripples, once to a distant shore, become the waves demanding reknown."
We all exist in this place called NS-dot-com- making our ripples in this forum.
Who knows in what ways and on what shores our voices carried, our life lessons exposed & learned will not produce something that demands reknown?
Thank you- one and all for being here.
[Sounds like you've got your FXG Clone, Dearest Bree- might need a tweak on a bolt here or there- but I'd say the model's solid! ;) Probably couldn't do much better myself!]

I don't know if he is a clone or not but he is a good guy. He has trouble dealing with things as we all do.....and his wife is sick so he has does when there is nothing more he would like to do than beat the tar out of something or someone...... and or let lose of some serious frustration.
And he ain't perrfect ( he has issues lmao LEss than me though) but he is pretty damn good. So will number three be the man.... or will he turn out to be Jeffery Dahmer..... and eat people in a not so Oh baby kind of way but more in the invite the neighbors to dinner kind of way...... well we will just have to see.
I mean Had the wife abuser..child abuser.... all thats left is the good man or the cannibal..... Its all good.....life is just reasons for senility later on or reasons for therapy.
Smiles,.. He knows I love him unconditionally.....no matter if I want to hug him or choke him... smiles

Just putting aside the silliness for a moment here. I want to second Kamy's constructive suggestion of finding support for you, Bree. There are community Mom's groups that you can join in your town or even churches. I actually thought of this because a mom's group from my community is helping a mom like you. They cook meals for her and babysits her kids when she goes to her doctor's appointments. The contact info should be in the town community page or book. Also, the American Cancer Society is a great resource. http://www.cancer.org/docroot/home/index.asp
They have an area where you can put your address and they will give you contact info on the local chapter. They have support groups not only for you but also for hubby and even the kids. They have a forum as well. Anyway, you may already have this info but I thought I'd pass it along.
Ok, now we can all continue the party and silliness to cheer up Bree and make her laugh! :D
