two questions

after reviewing the information on the site I am still left with two questions....

The first is I DEPed and got on a SEAL contract in in Aug with 20/200 eyes, What happens if i arrive at bootcamp with worse vision? do they just tell you tough luck and reclass you?

my next question is what happens if you run into a security clearance issue during training, like during bootcamp or even at BUD/s? again, do they just tell you tough luck and reclass?

Hey man, I'm only adding to the sh*t on your list so sorry about that.... but what was getting a waiver like for your vision? Mine is gonna be borderline passing at 20/200 too so I'd love to hear how that process went. I think I can get by under that criteria but I'm probably in the same boat as you, if my vision is even slightly worse after boot I'd like to know what happens to us? I would assume once you are sworn in that you would be in line for PRK so it wouldn't make too much difference as PRK can correct far worse than that but I'm not sure. Anyone with any info. would be appreciated from the both of us. Thanks guys.

its all good man, I didnt have to get a waiver because the max your eyes can be are 20/200 and thats what mine were at meps.
