Just a quick and easy run today. You should be feeling it from yesterday.

Shoot for run times under 21 minutes, then take the rest of the day to take care of your body, that means good food, rest, and lots of water.

Post your time.

Hoo-Yah!!

i guess my new tradition is doing the friday and saturday WOD on the same "day", by this i mean i now work every friday night to saturday morning, so im going on no sleep, but w/e, no excuses! working the desk last night, so i used the hours of nothingness to do a mini pavel routine, i began with a max out of pushups, 53 w/ ABSOLUTELY no rest, then every 15 minutes i did alternating sets of 50%(27) and 75%(40). nice little exercise to keep me awake!

5k trail run to the beach in 24:10(knees were sore from yesterdays run)

also did the SEAL fit workout, 100 flutterkicks, 100 sit ups, 100 leg levers while . at the beach. split exercises up with sets of 50 pushups.

untimed, but i did the 100 4 count flutterkicks all in one set, PR! leg levers and situps were both 2 sets. then i did some interval training in the soft sand, fun as usual!

Woke up exhausted and fatigued with my hamstrings in pain from yesterdays US Tactical Beatdown. I was supposed to do a PST this morning but my recruiter flaked out. I was really glad I didn't have to do it because I'm so sore but then I decided to do a PST on my own because I figure in Indoc your not going to be doing the PST fresh but most likely after a strenuous beatdown. Here's my scores...

Swim: 9:15
Push: 60
Sit: 100
Pull: 18
Run: 9:50

I think we can all see what area I'm weakest at. Damn you push-ups! Also, the run was on a treadmill, If I did it on a track it probably would be worse so thats something else I need to work on.

I did yesterday's WOD today, and completed it in 49:15. My first run was done in 6:40, and the second in 7:40. Good workout. I will try to do the 5k on Sun.

Was definitely feeling Murph this today, walking down stairs was a task haha. Put on some pants, laced up the boots, threw a 25 pounder in the backpack and headed to the park. Ran a mixture of some on the grass, and some on the paved path. All said and done, 7 mi (my longest recorded run) in 1:25:42. So many times the little voice inside my head said "you ran enough, just turn back now you did good" and I had to staple its mouth shut and press on! Happy I did the whole course, hooyah!

25min on the 5K. Immediately after, I completed my flutter kicks, sit ups, and leg levers according to Seal Fit. Have a great week end. Stay Safe.

22/m out of tallahassee, fl shipping may 20 2008 when school is done, just one question, i have been doing the crossfit workouts for a while now, but my main concern is will it prepare my legs/kness/tendons etc. enough for the amount of stress placed upon them at bud/s? With pre-bud/s now I feel that crossfit will suffice, but I just want to be fully prepared. if you have any suggestions as well please let me know. - Chris
