I've been lingering on and off this board for a while now. My dh posts on here regularly he's heading to SWCC school soon. Its been a long time coming and Im excited for him. Anyway I thought I'd finally drop a line to introduce myself. We've been married for almost 4 years now, and we have 3 kids ages 11 months, 6 years and 8 years. I stay at home with the baby and as an extra income thing I sell mineral make up through mineral girlz. We are living in WA state at the present time but I can not wait to go back south and thaw out, you know... being a Mississippi girl and all Im pretty cold up here lol.

There are a lot of women that frequent the forums but for the most part they seem to be on "men" forum of late. I bet if you re-post your first message you will be pleasantly surprised by your warm and friendly welcome. Just copy and past it on that forum, until than "welcome on board"

The reference to the 'A' team was meant as compliment {the best team} as opposed to the 'B' or 'C' team which is probably where you would find someone such as I

whidbey island. its not any warmer here. actually I think its warmer where you are!!! the highs stay in the 40s most of the time and the lows are in the 30s,20s and teens on some nights. Its not exactly the weather I like bein a Mississippi girl and all. I havnt been on here in a little while so I didnt even notice you were late on greeting me. My dh is an addict on here so hes the one who told me I had a reply LOL.

Hey dupeeswife! I'm just a little south of Portland in what could be dubbed the "banana belt!" We seldom see snow unless I look to the east at Mt. Hood where they have an a** load of snow! Typically it's stays in the 30's in the winter, rarely do we see the teens. On the other hand I'm a Kansas girl so these winters are mild to me as are the summers!! Whidbey is about 3 1/2 hours away from where I am!

Oh, and when I was just a wee lil girl, we lived in Jackson, Mississippi, but to tell you the truth I don't remember it much at all!

It doesnt snow much here. Well it snows like hell sometimes but it doesnt stick 9xs out of 10. It has stuck good twice this year and last time it was enough to go sledding. It was so much fun cause it was my first time. I want to go Mt. Baker but I dont know when we'll get to go. We went to Canada a few weeks ago and it snowed like hell on us there. Its crazy cause we can watch it snow like hell on the mountains out of our back door.It just passes us up. We passed through Kansas comin up here. It was so pretty all the colors. The yellow and green just like I always pictured it. Colorado was better because it was like Oklahoma and Kansas but with the mountains. It was alot different than i thought it would be. Im from the Coast so Jackson is about 3 hours north of where I grew up. I havnt had a reason to go to Jackson since my grandpaw died. You aint missin nothin, Jackson has ALOT of crime now.

We're going snowshoeing on Mt. Hood next weekend, hoping for good weather so I guess I'll go on the east side of the mountain for that!! Try to go to Baker, it's just beautiful. Last summer we hit all the big mountains from Washington to Northern California, what a good time we had, and the sites that we were able to see!

Yes, I do miss the vibrant changing of colors. Here in the PNW it just seems to go bam! One season to the other, no inbetweens.

I love to go to Seattle too....down on the waterfront at Pike's Market on the weekend is too fun. Never been to the Sea Fair though...maybe this summer?

Have a good night!

Id love to go to baker. I see it every single day ! it looks so close but it like an hour an 1/2 away. I want to go sledding. I would break my legs tryin to ski. I can see that happening now. We went downtown Seattle a few months ago and we didnt go in pikes market because it was gettin dark, but I do wanna go back down there. Its a nice clean city. i havnt been to the sea fair. I think we were just movin up here last year when they had it. I want to do alot but if my dh leaves for school this summer I doubt I'll get to do everything.

Naw, you won't break your legs! You're young...you'd recover quick!! J/K I'd teach ya the right way!!! I LOVE to ski and am taking up snowboarding now. You've got to get back to see Pikes Market...there's soooo much to check out. Then, just cuz you're in the area you'd have to go to the top of the Space Needle just one time. Eating up there will cost you your young though! Sea Fair is crazy! You have to experience it to know...and the Blue Angel's do a show over the lake....incredible. We have friends up there that we've gone out on the boat with to watch....again, incredible.
