? about the CCS

When your doing your strokes on the pst do you always have to go back face down or can you stay on your side the whole time or do you absolutly have to turn and face down?

Its recommended that you look down so you can see if you're going in straight line. But if its all good with you just staying sideways then do it.

Just if you care most of putting your head back in is so that you streamline if you stick out of the water you will break the flow of water around your body which slows you down and makes it so that it takes more energy to propel yourself

Thanks for all the info and i keep my head underwater i just would rather keep it sideways

also i do look down after every couple strokes but thanks for all the help
