Is there a waiver I can get for swcc if I have been in the Navy over 8 years? I have heard different answers, I really need to know because I'm a month over 8. Thanks

Go to this website...
http://www.sealchallenge.navy.mil/swcc/default.aspx
This should give you all your answers... as far as I know as long as you meet these requirements:
a. ASVAB minimum requirements
b. Eyesight requirements
c. Pass the Physical Screening Test (PST).
d. Must be 30 years old or less.
e. Be E-5 or below (no pay grade waivers).
f. Must be a U.S. citizen
g. Candidate must meet minimum performance standards. Evaluation marks should be at least 3.0 and above.
So as long as you are not over 30 years old or have bad evals then you should be good. Even if you are I believe you can put in a waiver. If I we you I would contact a motivator but this website will answer a lot of your questions. Hope this helps...

When I was on the phone with the motivators that are in Coronado the SO1 was reviewing my NC worksheet while I was on the phone and he made the comment that I don't hit my 6 year mark til April and that I don't need a waiver for that right now. So it may be 6 years but if you are good on everything else they will wave that.
