Verification on Swimming test...

I see a lot of people talking about the CSS, but that is just something we should know how to do well, correct? The screening test is either breast stroke or side stroke. Please tell me if I am wrong.

Also, I see a lot of talk about using fins in here. Are you supposed to wear fins for the test or are you supposed to go barefoot?

you can do CSS on the PST also. The PST is without fins. I think CSS is what you do the majority of the time at BUD/S, along with turtlebacking.

You only do CSS, the only time you will turtleback is when you're doing certain dives in Drager Hell Week
