I agree with Josh. Maybe even some with the old insignia. And Tunnel rats is so ancient. I mean, most folks around anymore don't even remember Vietnam except from the liberal school curiculum.

Thanks for input on additional designs. What I need at this time is input on THESE designs however. I will talk to the artist about new designs for other groups in the future.

Thanks!

I think they all look pretty good, I personally am not crazy about the black shirt with skulls look----more of a professional look would suit me better---but thats just me. I think they are pretty well thought out and executed. I would lose the tunnel rat one though, I just don't see a lot lf those selling.

Yeah, it seems like the skull motif has been a little over-done.

Here's my take on the new designs.

I'm with Josh and Sea for more SWCC shirts. Also have to agree with Sea on the whole tunnel rat thing. Who really wants to be sporting a t-shirt with a disgusting rat on it? The rest are all pretty good with the exception of number 3 (see below).

As far as the U.S. Navy Support our Troops design goes...women haven't dressed like that in ages! At least not any women with an ounce of self respect. It's typical Halloween costumesque looking.

For the future I would like to see some long sleeved t-shirts with ribbed wrists and more products with the U.S. Navy SEALs Supporter logo on them, i.e. ball caps, shirts, sweats. Also a ball cap with just NAVY embroidered on it would be great too!

Oh, I would lose the Delta one, too. I spend a lot of time keeping people from talking about upper tier operations. If they can buy a shirt with Delta on it here it would only break that down.

That Force Recon shirt is badass. Peel that off there and throw 'Navy SEALs' on it and I'll take a dozen. Haha a little much on the skulls but all in all, they are kick ***. I would shorten up the writing on some as I usually only wear graphics on my shirts but maybe that's just me.

The designs are very good. I'm also not fond of the skulls. I suspect the Navy SEALs shirt will be popular here, maybe you can add another design so there is a choice.

These designs are going to be distributed to other stores as well as sold in our own, so we are not necessarily deciding which to print based on how well they will sell on this website.
Thanks for all of the ideas. Keep them coming, and don't hold back! I won't take it personally!

Perhaps if the members on this site cared a little more about the Nam vets, the tunnel rat t-shirt wouldn't seem so outdated or disgusting.

Many of my former NCO's had fought in Nam and I thank God every day that I was lucky enough to learn from them. I drive with a POW/MIA plate on my vehicle to show they're "Not Forgotten".

I actually have a very good friend who is a Vet who served in the US Army and did his tours in Viet Nam! I meant no disrespect with my previous post and if I offended you I sincerely apologize for that.

I think it would be much better to get rid of the Tunnel Rats and have a design that honors the Vets of Viet Nam! I'd love to see a POW MIA design!

I'm going to piggy back on a couple things that've already been said. The female definitely needs to be changed for the support our troops design. That is ancient history, and an image the Navy is attempting to rid itself of. Many people in the Navy, or maybe just me, do not like women portrayed as just something nice to look at.

The HALO, SWAT, and Night OPS designs are especially awesome, but as SeaSpectre said, the skulls are a bit overkill. Also, he hit the nail on the head about tier one units. People already inquire more than they should, so companies shouldn't encourage the negative trend by selling t-shirts diplaying something that shouldn't be in the forefront anyway.

Overall, very nice. Just my .02 cents though.

I don't really go for designs that have photo-style art or someone's face printed on it. Reminds me too much of a Wheaties box or a NASCAR shirt with Tony Stewarts big mug printed on. I prefer anonymity and unit symbols or graphic art instead.

For instance I like the HALO because you can't see who it is and it's got a cool looking inverted color scheme, and Force Recon because it's more graphic art, less photo.

I'm in agreement with many of the opinions already stated.

U S Navy – I get the idea behind the design, with regard to the “support our troops” quote, but agree that it may not be appreciated by today’s buyer.

Sniper Assault & Night Assault are terrific, but the skull tends to overshadow the design.

SWAT is my favorite, because of the simple design. I'd use that concept for the Sniper and Night Assault logos. Keep your foreground the same, but use a simple background.

Force Recon is my least favorite.

With the Vietnam design, I’d also like to see something that gives a nod to the MIA/POW soldiers.

Overall, I think they're terrific. It's apparent a lot of work has been put into them. Honestly, I think they'll be bought purely on where a person's support and allegiance lies, not so much on the design.

There seems to be a pretty general trend emerging here. Obviously a lot of work has been put into these.

Halo & UDT shirts are terrific. Very effective and eye catching while using a simple design.

I also like the night, swat and stealth assault designs.

The US Navy design could be changed from the current design to one of the other "traditional" old school logos that was used round that era which may not be as offensive as the current one to some people. I just wonder of the sales value of it given the popularity of the other designs.

I agree the DF shirt may not be the most prudent way to go as was highlighted by SS. You could change the DF to Navy Seals and that would give another option there.

The comment about obscuring the faces a little more is a good one. Shirts where they are covered are much more striking, even if they were to have a little cam on them.

I like the idea of the Vietnam containing an MIA/POW link. Very powerful.

Recon is a little too much. You could dim the skull (grayscale possibly) which might tone it down a bit.

However, by and large they are excellent and will sit quite nicely for a couple of presents as well.

The feedback has been outstanding. The HALO shirt is in the works and will be available in a couple weeks. Probably the UDT shirt will follow. I'm using the feedback from this thread to determine which design is produced next. A LOT of work has already been put into these, so it will probably take some time to change them, if we decide that it should be done.

The only design I can rightly comment on is the S.W.A.T. design. I think its sharp and simple. I would wear it myself.

Would you consider offering it in colors other than black? OD and tan.

Also, how about a Tactical Medic design?

MMmm now that is an idea. A tactical medic design would be very nice.

"Medicine. Anywhere. Anytime."

"These things we do, that others may live."

"The best medicine, in the worst places."

"TCCC : Tactical Combat Casulty Care"
